Me and my partner stayed for a long weekend over August bank holiday. We couldn't believe the size of the room for the value that we paid. It had a bathroom with a toilet and shower/bath, an area outside this room with double mirrored wardrobes, with an iron and safe inside. A sink and dressing area, a kitchen (everything in it minus a washing machine - these where in the corridor, although I'm not sure they are open to the public but they looked like they are) a sofa and table and chairs livin.
all reviews » THis hotel is part of the Marriot Chain. All rooms are ' suites ', very spacious, very luxirious with great attention to all details. The location, although not with a Danube river view, was 2 mnitues from the river and close to everything that would be of interest to tourist. We enjoyed this hotel very much and would stay there again , whenever. The fact that our room was only C$ 104.00 per night which included a daily breakfast did help. Although it was called a 'continental' breakfast, it wa. Reception and assistance of the employee Mrs Gabriela Racz and Mr Daniel Solti was great as well as all other seen staff. Both were absolut friendly, helpful and obliging. The hotel is in a good shape, nice rooms which enough space, ideal for a stay with a group of friends or family. Late check out was free of charge and possible after our request at the check out day - amazing! Breakfast room was always tidy and the lady from the restaurant staff was friendly. You do have 3 Flat-Screen in a 2 . The location of the hotel is unbeatable. The hotel itself overlooked most of the touristic sights. The reservation was as exact as was requested, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly,which was marked by announcing their names, including (Gabriella Racz, Szabina Pozsonyl, Imola Tarnok) in addition to the comfort ability of having all your requirements at your hand in minutes... The location is excellent, right next to Vaci Utca between Elizabeth bridge and Chain bridge. The two-bedroom apartment was really big and lovely. Reality matched the photos. We enjoyed the full-lenght baths in both bathrooms. The italian restaurant downstairs was really nice. Hungarian people are friendly and helpful. The location was great! The staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very adequate and the server was efficient. My single apartment was enough for two. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the apartment was cleaned well everyday. I highly recommend this venue. location is great (though a bit hard to find by car due to pedestrian areas around), shopping street is just around the corner and main tourist attractions are on a walking distance. beautifil historical building. comfortable apartment with well equipped kitchenette, very quiet. It was right in the best part of the city. The river walk and loads of restaurants right there. In fact the Hungarian restaurant a couple of doors past the parking garage was a great price with great food. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends. We had a very large well equipped appartement in the 10th floor with good underground parking at the Hotel. Excellent central location in walking distance to all major attractions. The touristic culture needs to be a little more polished in Budapest, as English signs & Language may be a barrier to a better leisure time saving and mood. Breakfast did not include any fruit or vegetables or eggs. It was the same everyday. Sufficient for half a day of sightseeing, but not necessarily worth the money. The transfer from the airport that the hotel arranged for us didn't work out. My mother's birthday was not acknowledged in any way though the hotel knew about it. There is no WiFi. So, that was extremely inconvenient and put a damper on the whole experience. I had to go to McDonald's or any restaurant to get my emails. poor breakfast, paid internet (wifi and LAN), no private parking - guests can park in the Millennium Court's common garage at 35 eur per night or somewhere in the street. The dining recommendation from the reception did not deliver our expectations as we wanted traditional hungarian cusine and ended up in an expensive international style Restaurant. Although we could get CNN, Sky News and BBC World we couldnt get BBC 1 to watch the golf. Nothing. There was no view at all. There was no kettle but one was brought when we requested it. Bring your own coffee ,tea and milk as none are provided. It's difficult to find because of road works. Parking is expensive. Only continental breakfast provided. None. Nothing. My initial booking since August was for the same 2 bedroom apartment for 5 days at 772€ but when my credit card expired and I was able to renew and inform letsbookhotel.com right away , my reservation was still cancelled by Marriott. I had to immediately rebook same rooms but at 920€ . letsbookhotel.com confirmed the 772€ booking after I renewed my Visa card yet after a few days! I still got a cancellation. There seems to be a 'gap' in the coordination between hotel and letsbookhotel.com. FYI. Pull out sofa bed was completely shot with damaged springs, wifi was way too expensive..extras, i.e. coffee, snacks were also too expensive. Little bit poor breakfast for accommodation in the Marriott Hotels chain. Connexion to internet not included into the price, it is excessively expensive (15€ per day). Air conditioning poor in fitness room. Expensive internet. hugely expensive wi-fi. breakfast so-so. I should have specified non smoning. Carpet old Needs to be updated modern clean colours. Wifi is not only not free, it's expensive and it is very slow. This is a real problem with the Marriott chain!. On arrival at 12mn, we had no tea, coffee and milk as a starter. Nothing. The cost of Internet access is high. It should be free or included in the hotel cost. The two rooms apartment, which have been sold as two equal rooms, had one of them clearly of less quality, smaller, with no bed side lamps and air conditioning not working. We complain at the reception and they changed us to a better room on the day after. Breakfast could have been better. WI-FI unacceptably expensive. nothing. No view, but wasn't really that important. Carpet and towels were very 80s. Internet is 15 euro a day. Lucky we could pick up the hotel next door where it's free. Towels were thin and worn. Front desk not too friendly. Nothing was negative. very poor breakfast. Nothing. A small amount of tea, coffee and milk would have been appreciated. With such a high level of the hotel (!) Wi fi paid (?). Charging high rates for wi-fi - quite exorbitant in this age. Breakfast is very uninspiring! Hotel is great and also the location but please proper coffee, fresh fruit etc. This is the worst breakfast selection I have seen in a long time, don't bother go out to a cafe.
