Galini Palace is conveniently located on the Athenian Riviera, close to Glyfada and Vouliagmeni, with unobtructed views of the sea. It is approximately 16 km way from Athens city centre and 18 km from the airport. The public airport shuttle stops right outside the hotel. Each with a view of the sea from its private balcony, the Galini Palace rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and free toiletries are standard. A continental breakfast is served in buffet style every morning in the breakfast room. Guests can also enjoy drinks at the on-site bars. At the boulevard, and within a close distance from the hotel by car, you can find some of the most famous nightlife spots in Greece. Some of the biggest clubs and cafés are also by the beach. Within a 10-minute drive by bus guests can reach Vouliagmeni Lake.

First of all, hotel owners and hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel location is excellent, the beach is just accross the road, restaurants in Voula center are 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the bus stop is just next to it. Location for travelling around. Great sea view from balcony. Big comfortable rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff. good value for money.

"24 hrs access" meant you had to ring bell and wake someone up to gainentrance after around 1am.I'm still got no full understading if I paid twice for the same - i.e. once after booking on site, second at arrival to hotel. No swimming pool or garden to be able to take advantage of thebeautiful weather.It was too noisy due to bad sound insulation and the facilities are very old for the hotel to be named as a deluxe one. the buffet breakfeast should be more rich in content. Rooms were very smoky, no hairdryer. assistance,bed sheets were too small for the bed,there was no blanket on the bed,the bathroom need renovation,the lobby was too small. everything.. we did not stay for breakfast as I could not stay there, let a lone eat there. Location was very noisy with all night (fast!) traffic, all facilities extremely dated and to a very low standard. Staff / Owners disinterested. Cigarrete burn holes in the bed sheets sums up the standard of this hotel. The hotel looks like it hasn't changed since the seventies and really can't be bothered to make any effort. Breakfast unimaginative. For the money you could do much better.

Information about the area

Voula is an area located by the beach at the southern part of Athens. Galini Palace is close enough to the centre, where Acropolis, Thission, and the museums are, but it is also outside of the inner city, making it a peaceful place to stay. You can enjoy a day tour in Acropolis and in the inner centre and in the evening you can relax at the beach of Voula experiencing a fabulous sunset.

Also very close is the area of Glyfada where you can take the streetcar (tram) to go to the centre or you can enjoy the traditional Greek cuisine in one of the famous Greek BBQ restaurants of the area. Shopping is also very popular in Glyfada where some of the most expensive and quality shops of Athens are located.
