The service, the enthusiasm of the hotel Team from the guy at the door to the girls in the bar and restaurant was outstanding. The service was of the absolute highest standard and quality. They all made our stay in Cologne a memorable one. Well done to the Hotel!!. From the first moment we arrived the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our room was excellent and thanks to the positive emotions everything went so well. Also the sauna complex was easy to use, very quiet and excellent.

We did not like the breakfast service, the restaurant staff was slow, coffee and milk cold and I had to chase the waiters to get some attention.the overhead shower wasn't situated directly over the middle of the bath and having a shower therefore meant we completely flooded the floor. There was no curtain, and there was a step outside the bath, so this was perhaps a little unsatisfactory (and maybe dangerous). it was perfect. No complaints. Beyond my expectations however it was my first stay at a 5 star hotel. Value for my money was good at the special rate I received, however would be over pricey at normal rates. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room or iron.Nothing!. That was so old fasion. Not having internet acces included in room price as in other hotels. lack of tea/coffee making service in room. The hotel is excellent could improve roomservice as it takes long. It can be improved more in this category rooms by renewing those rooms.Breakfast is overrated. Heard some noise from the street in the room. you said breakfast was included, they charged for it.the old wooden door is a bit annoying when try to open, but you can call it the character of old hotel. the noise also leaked thru the window which wakes you up now and then. Did not try the full breakfast at 25 euros.Comfort is not very good. Theres was no wireless computer acces. no swimming pool, no coffee maker and most importantly no ironand iron board. Ha :-) a lot I can say: -Room needs rennovation,Window View to Services/kitchen exhaust systems,noisy, hot, no Aircondition, Bed TOO SOFT, Demo/Toy TV. the order modification process was very disappointing and misleading causes me to pay extra night w/o staying in the hotel. I was very disappointed by the reception manager who couldn't solve the issue as I expected.
