The Staff was very nice, 24hour reception hotel is located inside the main train station, very close to Messe and the Airport. Hotel is clean free wifi at the lobby, You can print free from the reception from the hotel computer. The location was perfect - right at the train station and next to the Cathedral. For an overnight stopover, this hotel was perfect for us and good value. Clean, comfortable and not noisy at all. Highly recommend.
all reviews » My room had the best air-conditioning. It was very hot and humid in Koeln but I slept very well. Breakfast was good on the whole. Staff was very friendly at check-in. Location is superb right in the Hauptbahnhof. Nice bathroom and overall the room was good for just me. Ideal location for my trip as I was a short walk to the venue, and the centre of the city for eating out. Lovely city. Location was perfect in the middle of the town and just beside railwaystation. Cleen nice hotel. Good breakfast. The room though the usual basic was very comfortable, the breakfast good and of course the location excellent. Location is great. One side can enter to the main train station. No coffee maker in room that was horrible. young lady staff in the evening shift(12/09/2013) always stare at the computer doing their own stuff or chit chat in their small room,not helpful at all. Don't expect them to answer any question about travel info.Never smile ,cold attitude.If you don't want to work,get another job.Don't show the long face to people especially you work in the service industry. Mediocre brekfast is expensive, but Starbucks is next door. No Safe in Room No Tea or Coffee facilities in room. the single bed is rather small. free wifi is not in the room. Nothing. breakfast a bit pricy. Day staff appeared to be younger. Not sure if this alone explains their lack of experience in dealing with guests or professionalism. Nonetheless, a big difference between day staff and night staff service quality. Washrooms were remarkably small which would make it difficult for people with disabilities to manouver. Would have liked to see more cable outlets for charging computers/cell phones. Some reception staffs are not friendly. They were their just to hand out room key and not interested to do anything else even answer questions. No ice machine in the hotel, rooms are too small... Its noisy and fairly tired rooms, wifi should be free all over the hotel!. disinterested staff. staff at the reception is not all friendly, very rude with customers. Will not recommend to friends.
