very good location and very clear hotel. In the very center of city. clean, good breakfast, very friendly staff. Convenience and close proximity to all major Cologne tourist attractions. Friendly staff, silent and comfortable room. 2 minutes from the station and the Dome just in the main shopping street of Cologne.The location is wonderful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very central to where i wanted to be. the main thing is that this hotel located in the center of everything, like train statin, shopping center etc.Service was good and staff were friendly. Room was clean and well looked after. the central situation. Their position. Very good location, right on the walking street in Koln for shopping.Location was good but the ambience and entire look of the hotel was not what was expected. Rooms were dark and had an odour, very noisy from steps on the floor and doors closing/opening from next room. Rooms in front were noisy from the busy shopping street. Room standard is over-rated and over-priced. Conveniently locatated to train station and shopping. Very near the Koln Dom. Good breakfast.no. Small room, The bathroom even smaller.The noise which it not the Hotels fault as Cologne is a major building site at present and we were there the night Germany played Portugal in the Euro Cup! which was the noisiest of our three night stay. The breakfast wasn't fantastic, but there are lots of great restaurants nearby, including Starbucks for morning coffee.Maybe a second pillow. well i can suggest a more rich breakfast. The hotel faces onto a main shopping street, and my room was, as a result, very noisy. Also, the soundproofing between the rooms seemed poor. I could clearly hear the television in an adjacent room (but that may have been because it was just too loud!). too much light in the room during the night. It isn't a three stars hotel. The room was very small and poorly equipped for the money paid. The elevator did not always function correctly.Our room faced the Hohe Street and was extremely noisy both day and night. The room was very warm and stuffy but we had to keep the windows closed to block out some of the noise but even with the windows closed it was very noisy. We would have liked the bathroom to have been more sanitary. There were no conveniences like a hairdryer or shelf in the bathroom.
