The hostel is situated very well to tour Berlin. Trains and Underground are close by. Great staff that was very helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms were tidy, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was of good quality and the price of 5 Euro more than adequate. Parking was available to us even without a reservation. I can only strongly recommend that place. I am looking forward to my next trip there.
all reviews » Room was big. Showers were clean. And they were four in our level. Bar downstairs with reasonable prices. Small stores on the same block. Incredible close to the east side gallery. Close to the disco/club district. Connection with public transportation. You can store your luggage free of charge. Hand basin and mirror inside the room. Free Wifi.the room was very clan and the bathroom too. It was very good value for money. In the centre of Berlin and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The best situation for those who are looking for cool and underground Berlin. Place is very cheap, but clean and confortable. I spent a great time. Hostel is in a great location. A litte bit far from major Berlin attractions. (You need to take publif transport). No chargers for each bed. Free Wifi only in the reception. nothing. There was no such thing. The Plug points in rooms are too far away from beds. I wish there were some plugs in the locker or near the beds. The kitchen at the end of the day was usually very dirty. N/a. A more inviting bar area would be nice. Too many children when I visited.a. Disappeared towels, bed linens this year we received on reception (beds were not ready),room was without tv. very early check out time 10am:(. Wifi sucks. Had to pay for wifi in rooms. Not a party hostel at all (even though it's in a party area with many clubs in the vicinity...). Breakfast start at 8.00 and non possibility to do it early even with a request.... The security. Not good value for price. Internet doesn't work. no toilet on the floor of my room and the charge for sheets was never mentioned until I was checking in . Room hotter than a SAUNA. No possibility to get shadow from the outside, no air conditioning, no easy way to let the windows open... Horrible room to pass a week, or to leave a dog, or for a baby to take a nap. Even in the night: If you want the fresh air, then you get all the noise of the (many many many) drunken people passing near or just having their beer under you. No way to change room, since it was full. Maybe not so bad when it is not summer, I don't know. . ..reaching night time to the hostel, the region was like a slam district. rooms was not that clear. showerhead was built-in and needling. Corridors get too noisy sometimes.. wifi is not working!.
