Great location for exploring paris, clean room, nice bathroom. Opposit to Eurostar trains, near metro. proximity to the station. convenient for Gard du Nord. Location is convenient. The location, it was very central and close to the main station.Near the Train Station. practicality. Only the hotel's proximity to Gare du Nord. close to metro. elevator / rooms very small but ok. no sitting room. Outside our room seemed to be the store area for bags of bedding which made us feel uncomfortable if there had been a fire our escape would have been very difficult. The blankets were stained which is less than great. The condom machine near the lift and entrance made it seem like anhourly "knocking" shop. That might be in keeping with a railway hotel inParis but its not what elderley ladies want to greet them. No cheaperbooking online!. The size of the TV screen, probably the smallest flat panel I have ever seen...no tea/coffee making facilities, bed not very comfy, staff sometimes not very forthcoming with answers to simple questions. a hotel closer to the main attractions and in a safer area would be our recommendation.Always laundry and other sundry items around the stair way. Cramped room ( mine was) and tiny shower.It was dirty, cold, smelt of cigarette smoke and the staff were really rude!. The attitude of staff is extremely terrible. Not helpful and polite at all.Undergoing work, old, dirty, staff that smoked ...... Indifferent staff, an uncomfortable bed (very hard mattress), small, dreary room with laundry bags left in the corridor!. messy hallway, they did not clean the room and change the towels until we told them to.
