The Double room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very good. there was a small problem with the shower but the staff remedied the problem quickly and without any fuss. The location of the hotel was great , 10 min walk to old part of Nice. Very good location - close to railway station, near shopping street, not far away from beach. A very pleasant stay overall...and for little money, especially when looking at the location. Well worth the money, very handy to everything.Great room, airconditioning and cheap price!. Air Conditioning was a godsend. Breakfast was well worth it despite other reports, the room was clean and comfortable.The staff were excellent. Very helpful when we needed information. A bit noisy when the window is opened, but there was aircon. the breakfast was a joke. we may have been confused, but the 6 euro breakfast included a few peices of bread. also we were charged for phone calls made with a phone card. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. the shower was knackered and did not run properly.Unable to leave cases in hotel for a few hrs prior ot catching plane. no drinking facilities, not even glasses in room,. wireless connection was very poor. The shower area is very small. Window is useless - the wall of next house is near. So only artificial lighting can be used. No sun. Heating in the room only by conditioner (though may be it's normal in Europe) thus cold by the table and in the toilette, but hot by the bed. The bed was too short. I'm tall (187 cm) but not exceptionally tall. There was no shampoo provided by the hotel. (I didn't expect tiny bottles at this price. I expected a bolted-to-wall dispenser, though.).
