Located only a few minutes away from the train station, it was very convenient for daily trips from Nice. It is also close to the city center and the beach. The staff was very helpful and extremely kind. They helped me by putting the cheese I bought in their fridge. I liked that the bathroom was so spacious. I especially loved their soap, it comes from Grasse, the perfume capital of France. In short, it was a very pleasant stay, great value for money, I would stay here when I visit Nice again.
all reviews » Excellent attractive and very helpful receptionist. Hotel was located approx 250m from nice train station, 20mins took you to monaco and 30mins to cannes from train station. Also super close to tram network which went through main shopping district of nice. Overall fantastic budget and very clean hotel. It is a good hotel with good value for money. The location is great - just about 5 minutes from the railway station. if you don't have a computer with you there is one in the hall you can use for free, and there is also a printer which was very useful for me. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This hotel is right beside the main Promenade (Jean Medecin) leading to the beach and the historic center in Nice. It is also very quiet while a three minute walk from both the tram and the train station. It was an amazing value considering the location eliminated the need of any taxis. Towels: white, clean, changed everyday shampoo, soap: each day staff at reception: friendly, give valuable information about city, transport, smart shopping Hotel location: Excellent, close to central station and shopping boulevard; direct connection to / from Airport by regular bus!. The location is very near to the main train station. It was the cheapest accommodation with such easy access that we could find for 4 people in Côte d'Azur cities that we'd like to visit (Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Grasse). The hotel has a good localization It's near the train station and bus stop for arrival and depart to the airport also it is near the center. My room was in a good condition with ar conditioning perfectly working . the staff really friendly , well spoken English , very helpful . Beds + towels changed daily , beds nearly every day . You can leave your baggages at the front desk after you check out. location is great, easy to find after taking off the train. The breakfast could also be better because it was quite small. When we arrived before the check-in time and wanted to leave our luggage, the receptionist ask us to leave it in the dining room, which looks unattended and unsecure. All the electric sockets in the room were hanging out of the wall. The shower room door can't be shut tightly. For been in a area with moviments at night sometimes the sound and lights of other places bother. But it's not a big deal. Toilet needs to be repaired. a little bit of an odour in the bathroom , from the drains . A bit of noise from the streets . Very expensive in Nice , drinks + food . Sometimes street can be noisy. For someone lighting in rooms can be not bright enough. The lift is a bit small. Also the aisel is dark. You have to manually push the button on the wall to turn on the lamp. The road itself in Nice is not that great, you have to keep an eye out as there are some undesirables hanging about. The room was spacious, but quite basic, and the decor felt a bit like a prison cell. However you cannot fault it for its cleanliness and it was very spacious. Breakfast was extra and even though it was advertised as all you can eat, verly little coffee, rolls, meet and cheese was put out. Location close to the train station (good), but far from the beach and the old part of the city - 15 minute walk - so was a bit out of the way. Bed had a bit of a dip in the mattress where the body lies - this could have just been our bed. No criticisms. Only very small issue when staff away from desk a bell to call them. The facilities are somewhat dated, with a small TV. The bathroom is arranged strangely, with the toilet raised on a platform in a corner, close to the sink. Insufficient electric socket, would advice to bring 3-way adaptor or extensions. Nothing to comment on here. The beds are not very firm. The room and corridor smelled of paint and the tv is way too high up the wall, found very long black hairs in the bed blanket. We wanted to cancel our check with a high denomination bill and had to finally pay by card 'cause they wouldn't change our bill. We asked them to get change 2 days in advance but they didn't do us the favor. Nothing i could say. The bed were not comfortable. Nothing, hotel was good value for price paid. - The street is a bit dirty and unsafe due to other residents in that area. Very simple, need renovation of bathroom and room. the bedding too thin, also the air-condition not working. A bit noisy at night. no comment. The shower was not too clean. The staff was frienly but unable to get a taxi to the airport for us in the morning the goung lady in the recepcion said ok and we had to ask her for the response andshe said sorry it is imposoble because Nice is full of tourist It was a litle cold and we had to go to the street and finally got a taxi. In our room the air conditioner didn't work. So did one of the lamp. And the bath tower was not clean. Bathroom 'tired' and room had a strange smell which did disappear when we opened the window. No wifi once check out. The plumbing system with noise and smell. unpleasant smell in bathroom and in carpets, recommend clean professionally.
