The room was a good size and very quiet. Bathroom facilities very good shower excellent.Very close to railway and bus for airport. Location, quiet, space, friendly staff. Breakfasts were fab.location was ideal for touring the cote d'azur.2 mins walk to train station. Silence, comfort, breakfast and location. we liked the rooms, very clean and neat. breakfast was nice. When a bigger delegation taken breakfast all places were taken and after first guests there were very limited food available for a breakfast. it was advertised as offering a free english breakfast. this consisted of rolls and croissants and jam. if you were lucky you might get a piece of cheese or ham but this was not restocked up very often! The hot chocolate however was lovely. I am ticking that i would recommend it but this is based on comparing it with the really grotty looking other hotels in the area rather than on it being great. Vanity in bathroom falling apart. The man on reception was a bit grumpy when we arrived- could have been more welcoming. Shower very old and dirty. no soap or shampoo in our room, our daughters room did not have clean towels on arrival, and had not been cleaned, we had to ask for soap each day, breakfast was good but the plates were not replenished, tables not cleared promptly, nor cutlery etc replenished, all these things could be sorted very easily with good management/ training. The hotel was OK, but is located in a terrible street, neighbouring sex-shops. Streets next to the hotel are crowded, dirty and noisy. The city is one of the most expensive in France, but the room price is still too high to my opinion. Based on the location, I would not recommend this hotel nor other hotel from the same street (they all seem to belong to the same owner). Well when I arrived my room was not done after previous person. However when I asked them to clean it they did it. But anyway it was quite dirty. The mirror was not clean. It was lots of blots in the bethrooom. The room was quite cold even the conditioner worked. The lunch was badly organised. When I told the manager we would not be staying for the 8 nights in this hotel he told me I would have to pay for the 8 nights despite the hotels cancellation policy which he seemed unaware of .I had to link into my email account in another hotel to get him his cancellation policy. On my return to Dublin I found to my horror that he had taken €650 out of my visa for the 7 cancelled nights.Just one hotel staff knows well-english (on reception). Breakfast is very poor and not enough for all customers. the windows was looking at them roof, which was quite dangerous, lots of insects in the room, small rooms. cleanliness...dirty towels...dirty carpet in a room we stayed at, also dirty cushions... They charged me twice for the room! And the breakfasts were awful, poor choice of food, and tables not cleared or set properly so you had to hunt fro clean crockery. Poor communication. Unfriendly staff, no full english breakfast, as stated on your website,just a very basic continental.Blanket on bed was visibly dirty, Had to request a remote control for TV, could not obtain a plug for the wash basin, "Full english breakfast" was one cereal, a basket of raw eggs to cook your own and usual continental rolls etc. Most of these items ran out and it was difficult to get staff to replace them. The rooms are by no means soundproof. I didnt get any sleep as theneighbours words and tv were audiable. The breakfast needed to have morefruit options.Dead plants flanking entrance said it all -- serious lack of TLC. Indifferent staff, stained carpets, breakfast components allowed to run out. Had to ask for plug for basin. Noise from other guests at night. The price and deal were misleading. Air conditioner and TV did not work and despite that it was reported, nothing was done. Area is bad and you do not feel save or comfortable to be in street after dark.It was in poor condition. Yes: carpet of room dirty, bathroom (bath) not clean when checked in, bathroom not stable, bed not well prepared, no shampoo provided, room really small, bed really small...Nothing the hotel was dirty full of kids, noise terrible and themanagement didn't care. Won't be returning or tell friends about it. Everything (except the price): poor breakfast, very noisy (thin windows and walls), staff not customer focused at all (one exception: lady in charge when I left), dirty bathroom - tub dammaged, no shampoo, bed no very comfortable, old furniture... in short: a very low price for an average price/quality ratio => Avoid if you can...This hotel is run down,dirty and in a very poor location.The staff in the restaurant were decidedly unhelpful.
