  Very clean and comfortable hotel. Location is great in terms of being close to the train station (makes getting in and out very easy), and nearby the train station there are also a lot of shops (like supermarket) and restaurants. However, it's a little further away from the pebble beach, the promenade, and the major shopping area (which is near th... what people say » e coast) as well as Old Town Nice. (at least 20 min walk to all those) You can also take the tram alternatively. - Situated in the centre of Nice and within a couple of minutes walk of the main railway station, the hotel had a pretty Mediterranean courtyard garden. The rooms overlooked the garden and hence the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a relaxing atmosphere. The Promenade des Anglais is an easy 10 minute walk. Would stay there again.

  I have stayed in the Excelsior several times and as I have friends who live in Nice and I can visit them easier as I now know my way to their house.   We stayed here only for the last night of our holiday, because it was very near the Railway Station (we had no car) and the stop for the Airport bus was only 50 metres from the door. So it was an ideal departure point. We enjoyed a short swim in the pool on level 1.   Friendly reception staff, room was very clean, a good size with plenty of space for luggage clothing etc. Bathroom was also immaculately clean. - It's good location close to train station and not far from beaches. The staff speaks English, we didn't ever need to use French over there. Good stay.

  Nice Art Hotel is a very nice hostel for backpackers or people who have limited budget, and is located right in the center of Nice (very close to the train station). I stayed there for 3 nights, and enjoyed it because the bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean. The most important thing to add is that the staff was extremely nice and hel... what people say » pful! - It was clean and nice, I've had a lot of great roommates during my stay. It was safe to leave my stuff in the room and not to worry about it. The WCs and the showers are relatively clean. The breakfast is good. If you are looking for cheap but reasonable place to sleep - go for it!
