This hotel is fully automated - no staff. You only have a code which you use to: open main door, open door to your room, to use wifi. Really great idea! The room was spacious, big comfortable bed, a big wardrobe, very fast wifi. Location is good - not far from the city center. There are a few 24H shops in the surroundings. Good location, able to walk to the center of tHe city in 15 minutes. Value was good. Good size for two folks but not conducive to spending time in the room. (Older folks tend to do that more than younger folks.).

The hotel is located very well, close to the center. It was one of the cheapest 'hotel' options we found in Helsinki where most of the hotels cost 100euro and more. Microwave, refrig and electric kettle provided, but no dishes or utensils. Check-in at 16:00 is a bit late. But that's ok. Couldn't get in floor until then. Conditioner is too cold. Garbage cans were too small for our two-days dwelling. Windows in the room are closed and do not open. No reception service available. Access codes are apparantly emailed but without access to email this is difficult. There was a telephone line near the elevator through which assistance was provided. Lack of reception was not communicated through Booking. Com and would require an update. It is not super clean. We had a room close to the entrance door of our floor and there was a lot of noise during the night, because of people coming in and going out. The room wasn't very sound-proof. For 2 persons the room was more than big enough. For 3 it will get a bit tight and I would avoid going there with 4 persons. Room space. Too expensive for 2, ok when shared in 4 persons. Having compared Omena hotels in Turku, Tampere, and Helsinki I really can't agree with what they are saying that all the hotels are the same and you'll know in advance what you'll get. Not enough information about its system pre arrival They did not reply my reqiest for early checkin even by refusal They should add disposable plates and spoons/Forks. Could not open window, and unable to adjust AC. Too hot and stuffy. Leaky sink and broken shower. No staff around, you put the code which you receive by email and get in. One of the rooms was freezing! Made one of us ill. It was -20C outside and there was no heat in the radiator! Very unhappy as hardly any sleep was had because of the freezing room!. The bathroom was a little bit untidy. Although wi-fi is free, it works very unstable. not so clean. No lounge. absence of reception, if something wrong would happen, no one to contact.
