This is a newer, modern and very busy place with lots of activities for the younger children. Our standard room was a bit tide for parents and 16-year old with 2 suitcases but comfortable for sleeping. Air-conditioning proved welcomed as it was very hot. About 10 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and additional 5 min to old town. Breakfast (included in our rate) was excellent with plenty of choices. Parking was a bit expensive but I understand it's standard for Copenhagen.
all reviews » Super sky bar with swing seats so you can take in the view across the river -the children absolutely loved that. The restaurant up there is a Sushi restaurant which was great and we enjoyed some grown up cocktails too!. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was everything and anything you could ask for.. Cocktails are amazing in the sky bar, the sering seating looking over the river were cool too. Expensive drinks. Fab set up though. I liked the comfort of the bed. I liked the pool and the tea facilities provided. The location is great, not far from a big shopping mall with lots of eat outlets. Great facilities at the hotel, pool, steam room, bouncy castle in the foyer as well as a footie table and table tennis, great for the kids. Loved the room, location and the swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent. Cot and blankets were really nice. Very comfortable beds. Modern, clean, attentive staff with nothing too much trouble. Everything worked and was well maintained. Excellent communication to the center of Copenhagen. Friendly staff. Good Concierge that new it all. The room was clean although a bit tired, location was good for my business meeting, but not ideal if I'd had stayed there for pleasure. Too far from copenhagen central. I know its only 15 mins walk but we thought it was closer to the centre itself. A bit pricey for the location. One particular staff who served breakfast was very impolite and discourteous. He should be taught to be couteous to customers no matter how bad a day he is having. pull out couch for the kids was very uncomfortable. Location was just a little but out of the city centre. Not too bad if you are aware of that. Upgraded to Junior Suite - Lounge facilities weren't great. Air conditioning in room was a little cold. The prices were quite high but that is a function of Denmark. A bit surly cleaning staff. The staff was a bit stressed at reception and my pre-ordered taxi didn't arrive. It is a large hotel with long corridors, i.e. not small and cosy. the checkin was quite late. Pool area was too crowded with loud teenagers but what can you do:)). Breakfast facilities were poor - very cramped food area and often ran out of things due to lack of space. Lunch in restaurant was very poor. Slightly further to walk to main facilities than expected. Bar menu slightly limited in scope of food offering. Bedroom very cramped with three beds in it. the bed sofa in our room which could have made a second bed not needed however to sit on it was not the most comfortable. Nothing. Scary clowns everywhere!. A bit far from City Centre (10-15 mins walk) restaurant was very stretched on night we visited. Rooms small. Dont get a room that has a interconnecting door, soundproofing non existant. The breakfast was very overpriced @ £20 especially when you only have cereal and a coffee!. Breakfast 170 !!!!!!. None. Breakfast options. The room we got was too small for three people and smaller than what was shown on their web-site. The room was a bit tired, twin beds was a disappointment. - location is a bit outside of the main areas (but still close enough) - room rate didn't include breakfast, which would have been another $30 (170 DKK) a day; $30 for a breakfast?. Hotel located beyond activities of city center. Given the location and basic amenities it is not a good value. Location a bit far from downtown, ridiculously expensive breakfast with no option other than full buffet and long distance to other restaurants, small room for 3 persons, no nearby public transport, giant tour group hotel feel. Impersonal. Tiny room for 3 once the sofa bed was open. Clean less in public areas. location. The theme room we stayed is very small, and the sofabed is not comfortable at all!. Don't cleaning the room, the water stays in the bathroom, and we must say it at least twice in the reception. There is a builder machine in front of the window, and it is very very loud from 6 a.m. We didn't drink anything from the minibar, but their system didn't get back our blocked money to our account.. The waiters of restaurant on the 2nd floor is awful, we waited a cup of coffee 1 hour. I Think the room was a little too small for 3 grown up people. The extra bed was not very good to sleep on ( I slept very bad and wake up with pain, and had to ask for an extra mattres the other night.) I had ordered a room with breakfast, but had to pay breakfast outside of.This was not noticed. Disappointment!!.
