City Hotel Nebo’s rooms have either private bathrooms or shared facilities. All feature a work desk, and some also include a seating area. The hotel’s popular breakfast buffet includes freshly baked bread and a wide variety of hot and cold choices. In summer, guests can enjoy their meals in the inner courtyard. Drinks and snacks are sold in the lobby, which has a free internet computer. Bicycles are available for rent on site. This non-profit hotel contributes proceeds to Copenhagen’s homeless community.

It was quiet, as I had requested room with windows overlooking the courtyard, not the street (which seemed to be quite busy even at night). The location. Nebo was an adequate hotel for a family of five spread across two rooms. It is the best price in Copenhagen, a ridiculously expensive city. The room for 3 (suite) was nicer than the regular room for two but both were ok. We actually recommended the hotel to an American couple we met over there as they were suffering from Copenhagen sticker shock. You can't beat the value and location. The breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel was very good butnot of the room we were stuck with. The traffic noise and human voicesfrom the street were terrible.Location. It was perfect to look around København and also the other cities where are accessible by rail. Brakefast. I was satisfied them quantity and quality. near to city center. The taciturn day clerk was far less than helpful. He acted like he resented being asked even minor questions. breakfast ends at 10.15 exactly, not a minute later, which is rather inflexible. the area was a seedy part of town. the bed could have been comfier. Customers arriving late and leaving early make a lot of noise so it can be difficult to sleep well. very old room. Only 2 weak points:1) It was quite cold both in the room and corridor. Having switched radiator into max, I didn't feel much improvement. Ridiculous, but the first night I had to sleep with thermal underwear put on.2) No free Wireless Internet available. It has already become a standart to have Wi-Fi free for guests in hotels (and even hostels) all over Europe. I stay twice: the first one in an apartment the second in a room, the apartment have to be forgotten, the room was good. The showers are hokey as the shower floor is the same as the bath floor so everything gets wet. On the other hand, ventilation was adequate so they dried out quickly and fresh towels were provided daily. Both of our rooms had in-room showers. The neighborhood is not for the skittish. It is a big city for Europe with the accompanying porn, hookers, etc, but if you mind your business it is fine. Only the noise from the street outside our room.The room was little bit small, but it was not so critical for my staying to sleep only. No remote for the TV. Cleanliness was ok but not really adequate to the romm's price. . no parking facility. Room was very cold and rather un-inviting. There were no tea/coffee making facilities and after a long cold journey we were dying for a drink - we then had to search around the area looking for somewhere for a hot drink. very noisy,and no aircondition. The staff was very unfriendly, bathroom was not very clean.

The mission hotel Nebo is an independent institution, and is run on by a Christian foundation. Our philosophy is that everyone should be able to afford accommodation in Copenhagen.

The fund was founded in 1918 and the building has been a hotel since the 1930's.

Important information to guests

Please note that the hotel elevator will not be functioning from 1 March until 31 April 2010. Guests' luggage will be carried by hotel staff during this period.

Information about the area

All the major tourist attractions in Copenhagen are within walking distance of the hotel and include the Tivoli Gardens, the planetarium, museums and Nyhavn (New Harbour).

Room information details

As one of the only hotels in Copenhagen, hotel Nebo can offer economy, low economy and standard rooms. All of our standard rooms are with private shower and toilet. The prices of our economy rooms are very favourable, and come with shared facilities in the corridor.

For families of 2 adults and two children under the age of 12 years. You will have to book the roomtype Suite which includes an extra sofa bed.

It takes 12 minutes by train from the airport till check in time at our hotel.
