Very modern. Good to know that you don't have to queue for check in and check out. There is no reception, they send you the entry code 48 hours before checking in. I stayed for 5 days amd I did not had any problems so I can't really comment how does the hotel responds to problems. Location is ok, it's just walking distance from the main train station but also is located at the red district. Saying that I felt very safe walking around it in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel.

Standard setup but various size and location of rooms. some are small with thin walls in an older part of the hotel and some are spacious and more privat. but all of them have the same items. They are all clean and with the basic necessity for a short stay. Excellent location, good beds, internet connection, microwave, water heater and instant coffe :). I was a bit concerned as I'd seen some bad reviews, but for us the hotel was excellent. Large corner room with view of a garden and a big bathroom. Use of access codes was great - bliss to have no keys to worry about! Forewarned about microwave etc., we brought necessary bowls and plates. It saved us heaps of money. Loved it - will stay again. Everything works on a password code that is e-mailed to you the day before so you need a smartphone to get the e-mail. A bit confusing at first. It is in an area with a lot of other budget hotels. Although that area of town in clean, there are hookers walking around at night. This is an hotel with no staff present anywhere except by phone so you need a cell phone that works in Europe. To get to our room, we were to be given or room number and entry code online - BUT - since we carried neither computer or mobile, we had to use the state tourist office. Surely, when we book in online, they can give us both our room number and entry code - since it will all be stored on computer! An annoying start, and needs to be fixed. Electronic arrangements may not suit some people who favour desk clerks and concierge assistance. When the key codes didn't work!. the check-in is too late, normally should be at 13 latest. Drain smells. Unreliable slow wifi. Helpline didn't answer sometimes. Plastic cups and lack of plates/ cutlery though can understand why. Even helpdesk is thru the lobby phone. It would b nice to see a person, at least in the normal office hours. nothing. The street is noisy but the curtains are thick to shield the sound. It was very noisy on the street. Some dodgy characters late at night on the street. The fridge didn't work... Couldn't turn down/off the heat. Tv didn't work No-one to ask anything. WiFi signal is very bad, unable to check email. During the past couple of night, I have to use my 3G connection. I have been to another room but the same result.
