We found the staff very proffesional and polite towards us as guests. The facilities within the hotel met with our approval which made our stay so much more enjoyable, thank you. The hotel is centrally located, short walking distance from Tivoli and shopping areas.Hotel was very busy during the holiday period, the staff were very helpful and friendly and extremely knowledgable on restaurants and the local areas to visit. The non-smoking room I was in was small but clean and comfortable.

They did find a double room in the end - not sure whether this was an issue with the hotel or with Bookings.com?!. Breakfast was a little chaotic re organisation but very adequate in terms of what was offered. Room could do with brighter lighting for those of us who need to work.Copenhagen seems to be a very expensive place to stay. Way hotels are taking breakfast out of the room price cant understand?. The price of a bottle of water in the mini-bar and hotel bar. Extremely expencive... In Denmark you can safely drink from the tap in the room!. I did not need the ironing board, it took up space in the closet.The bath was very small, I would call it a big shower. And the shower was of poor quality as well. The room cleaner must have broken a wine glass during her cleaning as there were pieces of glass found in the bathroom basin and no glasses in the fridge.This was very dangerous as there could easily have been broken glass elsewhere on the bathroom floor. Breakfast could be better. The hot buffet breakfast was tepid verging on cold and not very nice. The scrambled eggs were like rubber. The cold buffet breakfast was quite acceptable however.Being charged for breakfast. Dusty room, bad ventilation, there's been smoking in the room. Attitude at the reception. They were not able to read my credit card. They did not take common payment card. They wanted cash payment upfront (I understand). In addition I was asked for cash deposit of 500 DKK, despite of having the room reserved with my credit card details. I mean, if I make a reservation with credit card details and then the deposit is obsolet. Breakfast was not 4 star. Oldfashioned hairdryer in the bathroom (not suitable for long hair).This was the second stay within this hotel booked via booking.com, the only was the room hasn't been cleaned as it should have been. Heating was not properly working. Reception and reservation detail was totally messed up. Their systems do not work. Karem tried to help but still my account was not right. They really have to work on customer service. Breakfast. No room service overnight. In room TV web connection - keyboard difficult to use. Breakfast quality of bacon poor and staff not looking after customers. They charged me twice the same sum, I wrote the letter but still didn't get the answer. The breakfast and the fact that the room smelled cigarette smoke. The staff was poor performing and gave a very bad service during checkout and departure.

The renovated gourmet restaurant, Imperial Grill Room focuses on the highest quality prime cuts of the meat and fish. All meat is cured on site and we purchase from only the best suppliers in the country.

Brasserie Imperial is an informal meeting place for both lunch and dinner and serves genuine Danish and international Brasserie menus of the highest quality at reasonable prices.

The restaurants can also cater for banquets, receptions and parties either in the restaurants or in private banquet rooms. During winter, our house pianist entertains guests in the Imperial Grill Room from Thursday to Saturday.
