We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

My stay at Palace Suites was truly fabulous. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels. The room we had was great - good size bed, nice balcony & all very clean.

Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem.
In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff
were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great;

My room was located right on the main road around the corner from the harbor so location was great but street noise wasn't an issue. The rooms were stylish and modern, very big and it all looked really new. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7. So location was good if you have a car.
