  Room design. Cleanliness. Freedom. Location. Delicious breakfast. All that people are writing about the swimming pool is unfairly diminishing hotel's rating. The pictures of the pool are exactly views from the balcony. There is no word about the pool in the hotel's description though.. do not judge the book by the cover... the hotel is great and... what people say » worth the price!!!! i do recommend it!!! - The hotel is very quite and the view from the rooms is fantastic.The location about few minutes from downtown reachable through beautiful promenade a. neighbor to the park, marines and beaches are the high points of the hotel.   What a great little find! The rooms had everything you could ask for - kitchen, TV, outside area, air con and even a washing machine! The apartment was small but really had everything you need and was very homeley. The location was great about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Split. Near to the steps up to Marjan hill for a bit of countryside esc... what people say » ape. Great hosts, really friendly, kind, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommended. - The owner and his family are very nice. The apartment was nicely furnished (stereo, DVD player, DVD's, knick-knacks from around the world). The owner left 2 beers, a bottle of orange juice, and a bottle of water in the refigerator and informed me that they were for me- I thought this was a nice touch. I had problems finding the apartment, and the owner came to meet me. The location is good- about a 7-10 minute walk to the old city section (Diocletian's Palace) of Split.

  Myself and my partner stayed in Apartments Vidilica for two nights. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. He gave us a bottle of homemade liquor, very nice. He also had a map of Split which he gave us and told us all the best places to eat etc and what would be best to see and do during our time there, very helpful.   Greet location. Right next to the station. Go onto the platforms and you'll see the apartments over the other side of the station. You can walk across the platforms to gain access. The apparents look very new. The one we stayed in (no 9) was a twin bedded. But truthfully was only big enough for a single. It was very small. Bathroom well appointed ... what people say » and new. Very clean. All in all. An inexpensive place to stay right next to the railway. - We booked an airport transfer and Simoni picked us up from the airport. He was very nice and gave us some suggestions for eating and sightseeing in Split. Rooms are clean. We told Simoni we were on our honeymoon and he gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and a bigger room than we originally had. We left to Hvar for the night and we left our luggage which was locked in a room near the reception.

There is a market everyday just outside the palace walls that offers fruit, vegetables, meat, - The best feature of Villa Kate is its location - minutes of walk from Diocletian's Palace, the markets, supermarkets and the Riva Promenade. It's well placed to join day tours and return to cool down in the air-conditioned sitting room before heading out to enjoy an evening stroll. We also liked the kitchenette and the power shower. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I am glad I asked them to book a taxi to meet us at the airport as we would never have found the place by ourselves! Over

  Nice, modern and clean apartment close to the haven. Good service. We were contacted a few days before tve arrival and they arranges a taxi picup at the airport. we were met by one from the staff where the taxi stoped and shown the way. The apartment was in the old part of Split with the old city charm.   Location is amazing, everything is near. The apartment is small and cosy, and the patio is the best. The owner is very nice, and easy to contact. We had a perfect holiday, and we can really recommend Bubalova. - the apartment is really nice, small but nice. Cleanliness would need some more efforts. Location is great for the old town trip.

The owners, the service (they went out of their way to serve us), very professional, a couple of restaurants within walking distance that have phenomenal food and were recommonded by the owners. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the tourist area: near enough to walk, far enough to be very quiet at night. The room was immaculate and there was plenty of space for two or three people. It is an easy 10 minute walk to old town. Good breakfast and safe location. I'll stay here again.
