Very friendly staff, clean hotel. Large bedroom and bathroom. Good matrass. Relatively quiet surrounding at night. Very good breakfast, a lot of choice. nothing to dislike at all. apparently there are older and renovated rooms. I stayed in one of the renovated ones and they are beautiful. No issue for young people, but steps can be a bit of a nuissance for older people though, especially when you have a large suitcase (staircase was relatively small). Parking was a little inconvenient but not horrible. Unfortunately, there is little to be done about it. The parking was, however, clean and secure.We were given twin beds and we had booked a double bed. the hotel decor was quite dated though comfortable and the breakfast was ok. No kettle in room!. Dated fixtures and fittings, tv remote was the size of a house brick ! Parking - you need to get up early to feed the meters, charges from 9am - we saw wardens ticketing and photographing at 10.30 am on a Sunday !. booked double room and got single room with no recompense. In room 3 telephone didn't work, tv was so small could hardly see from bed as can be made into a family room as beds pull out. Quilts were grubby. Breakfast very basic. In room 32, bed was unsteady and fell off blocks at one stage. Very noisy people leaving at 6am and doors creak.unclear cleanliness of the room. beds were horrible, room was just biig enough to fit the beds. I would rate the hotel ** max (certainly not ***).

Hotel Louisa is a charming, family hotel run by Francis and Magali Bosschem. The Hotel is uniquely situated in the heart of Ostend near the beach, shopping area, harbour and about 70 restaurants.
