One of the best hotel where I stayed if not the best for the quality/price respect. they belong to a new chain Design Hotel and I will try another one from the chain as I was pleasantly surprised by the standards of this young hotel. This is a truly great hotel, there are no negatives. I wont consider any other hotels in Brussels as this has everything you would look for. It also has class and a very individual welcoming atmosphere.

The location was perfect, it was easy to walk to the train station and the main square. When I'm having a shower I didn't want maintenance staff entering my room when I locked the door from inside!!. Sometimes difficult to get service in the restaurant and bar. no breakfast included. If I am to be picky I could say that the duvet was a little too warm for my liking. wifi-connection was not the best. Yes - The breakfast at € 27.00 for a few pieces of bread is not acceptable and must be one of the highest prices in Europe at moment. At 8.30am a loud drilling noise started and continued all morning. I complained to the staff and they said there is construction work taking place. We were placed in a room near to this work taking place so I was not very pleased about that. Nothing...excpet lifts actionnable by card: it does not run everytime !. not to much tv-channels. Needed to hunt for the barman in the evening and toiletries and coffee were not always placed in the room. Always attended to promptly when request were made. Room wasn't clean on arrival at 10pm, took half an hour to give us a new room. Breakfast pretty average for the price.There are similar hotel rooms in Brussels for half the price. It is not that we did not like it, it's that it's far too expensive. This hotel is all about show and glitz without any realworld qualities to back it up. The staff are poor, the receptionists have to act as porters, we were advised that the kitchen and restaurant was open until 2230 and yet at 2210 were told that we could only eat in the bar (although of course we would be charged restaurant prices). Beneath the high gloss veneer, a poor hotel.

- Follow the signs for Brussels and then follow signs for centre/centrum.
- In the city please follow the signs for La Monnaie/Munt. The hotel is located just behind La Monnaie in Rue Léopold.

By Public Transport (from the airport):
- From the airport take the train to the central station (this is only 5 minutes walk from the Dominican).
- Walk outside the train station and turn right to Carrefour de l’Europe.
- Turn right again into Boulevard de l’Impératrice followed by a left turn into Rue l’Ecruyer.
- On your right hand side you will find Rue Léopold where the hotel is located.

Also there are several bus, metro and tram lines that have stops at De Brouckere Square from where it is just a short walk to the Dominican.
