Room was maybe 50 feet from Mannekin Pis (sp?). Small, family run hotel (6 rooms). They asked you what time you wanted breakfast brought to your room and were absolutely punctual, to the minute. Only 2 blocks from the Grand Plas. Also, only a couple blocks from Gare Central. Great location. Would stay again no problem. A very nice and cozy small hotel with a great location for tourists. It has a very nice family business feel with the comfort of a big hotel. Staff is very friendly while also being non-intrusive. The fact that they bring breakfast to your room is also a nice touch. We were not bothered at all by tourists in the street being loud or anything, as some people reported, and we had a first floor room.all reviews »
So close to all attractions plus although "basic" it was clean and secure. hosts, location. IT's cosy, and with good breakfast served in the room. The hot chocolate is excellent. Great location, wonderful they bring breakfast in your room. Right in the heart of town. Nice family run place and good pubs outside. It was charming. Room was clean and simple. Stayed in better places but had best time here.The hotel has the perfect situation, it is in the city centre, very near the Grand Place, the best restaurants, pubs... You can see the Manneken Pis from the hotel window! Breakfast in the room is also good. Hotel is located in central Brussels and is cheaper than one would usually find in this location.The location, the price. In the city centre. location to the Grand Place and the Mannikan Pis. central location. Only negative thing to say is that the kid that let us in and gave us our key didn't speak English very well, but that is hardly a negative, and certainly not his fault. I was in HIS country! Cheers!. The heater was not working and the mattress have to be changed..Its small and had no lobby (storefront is lobby) so it's a little pricey for the size. But great location if you're a tourist. Just in front of Mannekin Pis and near the center of town. The furniture a bit old, and the bed was not comfortable enough.I think in summer it would not be ideal since one would have to open the windows and it's a little noisy outside. The noise during the night: twice a very noisy garbage passed in front of my room, and twice a very noisy group of tourists paased in fron of my room. So the room need to be isolated against noise. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, although I did get it in the end.Steep and narrow staircase. No lift. Very simple furniture, but ok bed. Stairs were very narrow - if we'd had more luggage than just a carry-on, it would have been difficult. Also, being so close to the Mannikan Pis meant that there was outside crowd noise literally all night long. That should be a note on the website.The hotel staff did not really pay attention. The hotel has 6 rooms, one could think it is not difficult to remember the requests of the guests. However my breakfast was simply forgotten and I had to ask for the invoice about 3 times after having paid already.
