The owners were lovely despite us walking through the door a bit stressed due to our journey we were immediately put at ease by daniel and catherine. The location is excellent with the main market square a two minute walk away but despite this the location is a quiet side street. The room was lovely even for what is described as a budget room. I would definitely recommend this place!. * Excellent location, in the very historic center. * Very quiet place. * Spacious room, very well decorated, full of charm. * All commodities in the room: wifi, iPhone deck, haidryer, ... * Gourmet breakfast : luxuous tea, variety of bread, croissants, excellent marmelade, bio yoghurt ... * Very kind hostess.
all reviews » Owners are great, friendly people. Location is also perfect. Rooms are decorated beautifully, are comfortable and very calm. From the trainstation you can walk there even with your baggages within 15 minutes. If you call the owners they can direct you easily the way to their place. The rooms were very nicely appointed, the bed was amazingly comfortable, the bathroom was wonderful, the kitchen was well stocked and lovely, the location is right near where you want to be as a tourist without being in a tourist zone/trap, and the owners were so delightful. The owner Daniel was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and importantly, secure. The breakfast featured some very tasty croissants along with jams that started the day well. Plus, it is just down the street from the square. This was a delightful place to stay. The owners were wonderful. I hope to return to Brussels and stay here again. The words for this place are charming, charming and charming. The only downside I can think of was the stairs. The room is on the third floor and the stairs are steep. No plug in sink. Stairs to some roooms might be tough for elderly people. Just an advise to clients.. Make sure you let them know the exact time of arrival, because they will wait for you to give you the keys, indications and after that there is nobody in the hotel but guests. Nothing. Narrow stairs till room, not for older people and those with disibility. Self service for the breakfast, although it gives home atmosfphere. No spare beds to offer. Management is not in the same building. Beakfast is self-service. We only saw the owners when returning the key. The prepare-it-yourself breakfast in a shared kitchen - forces just a bit too much interaction with other guests. No complaints at all. nothing. Nothing. We had to check in before 8pm. We were not informed of this until after we made the first payment. We couldn't possibly make it on time, wich apparently caused a lot of frustration with the B&B staff. The breakfast was a bit dissapointing. On the website it looked much better. breakfast molto limitato. colazione fai da te, non adeguata per un beb & breakfast.
