This is a first class hotel! Very convenient if you're travelling by train. Great room and delicious breakfast. location, good breakfast. Great. Great breakfast, close walk to Grand Place, close to Midi train station, helpful staff. Breakfast, renovated, new furniture, good location. After the ownership change and the renovation it has been modernized and improved both in services and infrastructures in favor of clientele.

The location is close to the train station, but in a crime area. No directions after repeated requests and the police, cab driver, and two other businesses did not know where it was. Walked over 90 minutes to find it. The location was a little scary. The room was a little bit small. The bathroom fixtures such as toilet, bath and wash basin looked a bit worn out, access to the lift was through a winding dark corridor. The shower curtain was so long you either stood on it in the bath, or water flowed down it and went onto the floor, so I had to take a bath (which I dislike). Not a big complaint, but when you're trying to stop children from running about on a wet floor its no fun. Layout of hotel, many uneven floors in common areas, there is a oldersection of the hotel, that is not up to ame level. Would be nice tocommon area where computer access is avaliable. View to main streetshows very dirtly street, not much hotel can do about this one. could have been cleaner, bathroom was pretty dilapitated, area of hotel was not nice and there was no parking except public parking and I was afraid the car was going to get stolen!!!. Bathroom, hotel surronding, it should have 1 mattress not 2!!. Staff on reception could have been more helpful. Some rooms did not have air conditioning. No airconditioning, ants. We had bad experience with hotel´s staff. They were so indifferent ... and surroundig is very crime. No fridge in the hotel room and no snacks or drinks to buy in the hotel.The room heater was not doing adequate heating and the hotel had no alternate room to offer.This was a problem with a small kid with us...Finally the manage to arrange for an additional blanket which was some comfort. There is no tea kettele in the room. The lift was broken during all weekend. Not sure that the the area where the hotel is situated is safe.Rather expensive considering in the middle of re-furbishment. the room still required some finishing touches after the hotel's refurbishment. staff are impolite sometimes. plumbing was very noisy. have some difficulty in finding the Hotel(easy information to location). poorly furnished. confusion about the location of each room. very noisy traffic, very noisy from floors above, sleep disturbed by these factors, no hot water for shower in the morning - very disappointed by this. Asked staff for discount on check out - they declined - could you pursue this for us - 120 euro expensive especially when no hot water for shower!. The fact that you was not able to get food after you missed lunch time. Small room at the back of the hotel because they didn't have enough non smoking rooms.Which was requested.the room reeked of rubber flooring smell, handles fell off doors, shower racks fell off walls, noisy from constant traffic, location was in a dodgey area. General lack of information: As I arrived, I took the lift beside the reception to reach my room, wrong one, nobody told me that I have to take another one. In the room no information about the hotel: nothing about TV-channels of breakfast time. Since there was no minibar, I tried to get a coke from a vending machine. After the fifth attempt somebody told me that it is out of order.

From Zaventem International Airport
take the A201 direction E40 Brussels/Liège (Luik). Take exit E40 Brussels/Liège and direction city centre. Take the inner ring (petite ceinture), direction South (Midi). A the end of the tunnels, you arrive at the South Station. Pass under the bridge, the hotel is 25 m on your left.

From Liège (Luik)/Köln
take the E40 Brussels, at the end of the motorway, take direction “city centre”. Take the inner ring (petite ceinture), direction South (Midi). A the end of the tunnels, you arrive at the South Station. Pass under the bridge, the hotel is 25 m on your left.

From Antwerp/Breda (Anvers-Antwerpen) : take the E19 Brussels. When you arrive at the crossing of the ring 0, take direction E40 Brussels/Liège (Luik) and exit E40 Brussels/Liège. Then follow the same instructions as describe just bellow.

From Paris/Charleroi/Mons
take the E19 Brussels. When you arrive on the ring 0, take exit Anderlecht. Go straight ahead. When you arrive at the bridge from the Railway, before it take left, take direction “Place Bara”, follow the street “rue de l’Autonomie”, 50 m later you arrive at the “Square de l’Aviation”, the hotel is on your right.
