location: within walking distance of the train station ( 20 minutes) even with packs, near by convenience store, we got lost coming out of the train station but should not have.Buy a map or turn right coming out of the train station main (must be main) entrance,follow the curve of the building, keep walking in this direction (cross over one intersection) until you spot a set of stairs on your left across the street, (a 2 min walk), walk up the stairs,walk across /through the middle of Bruxell.
all reviews » The hotel is excellently situated for public transport which is important in Brussels. The lower priced rooms are very good value for money. They are large with all the facilities such as iron, hair dryer, safe, coffee making facilities fridge and TV. The staff are very friendly and attentivewilling to help with tourist information if needed. My wife and I have stayed there twice now and would totally recommend it. While we stayed there on short holidays I have also worked in Brussels and it is. It's the perfect business hotel. Could not have asked for more. It anticipated everything and catered for every need. Absolutely wonderful experience. Spacious room, strong free wifi, great gym, well equipped bathroom with a large enough shelf to keep all your toiletries, a nice little place to get some breakfast and supper at really good prices. Even huge umbrellas provided for walking in the pouring rain. Excellent!. I loved everything about the hotel.It is one of the cleanest in Brussels, very conviently located (500m from a Metro Station), quite central (5 minute walk to European Parliament). Its rooms are large, has all basic amenities (tea/ coffee maker, 42" lcd, 62 free channels, paid channels for tb buffs, very friendly staff and innovative incentives. On top of it, I got an excellent deal on letsbookhotel.com. EU Quarter location (1040 Etterbeek) next to Leopold Park and the nearby Sunday food market on Place Jourdan where you find Maison Antoine with its famous 'frites' which is welcome in the nearby pubs e.g. Café de l'Autobus whose ?owner serves you a nice Jupiler, collects the fallen litter and runs a flame red Ferrari. Spacious room with a comfy large double bed and nice decor. Well equipped 24/7 gym. Everything is 5 stars from the nice staff to the great rooms, very spacious and design oriented. Location is also excellent, city centre is only 10mins away with Metro or 5 mins by car. Breakfast is good and very cheap, compared to most hotels in Brussels. On a weekend the room rates offered are an incredible bargain for Brussels. Definitely coming back to stay here!. Excellent staff very helpful and all spoke fluent English. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable but not very luxury hotel to stay in Brussels, it might be the choice. There is no staff and no service that you usually get at a hotel. That isn't a problem, as long as you know beforehand. There's a microwave so you can bring something to (h)eat if you don't want to go out for dinner. Clean, comfortable and practical. As an older traveller I would enjoy smoking rooms but realise that is getting less and less possible. Very minor problem with the safe in the room but was sorted out soon enough. Sewage smell from shower drain at times. Nothing bad!!. No fan to air out bathroom. There's only a sliding door separating the toilet from the rest of the room. Had some trouble with TV, and shower. Other than that everything was wonderful. Nothing, this place is great. The fact that there was no breakfast (but who cares since the price was low). Nothing to dislike. none. Not an ideal location for tourists - in the heart of the eu Parliament area, but very close to Metro and bus stations which compensated. Nothing, couldnt fault it. Water pressure is a little weak. Car park charge is excessive at €25 per day, poor breakfast which was also priced excessively at €20. Took a chance and parked my car outside the hotel to discover it broken into during the night. Hotel said this was only the second time this had happened since it opened but the following morning another guest had a similar experience. The hotel is located on a secluded side street so parking on the street is not very secure or advised. The cleaning was good but could have been better. It seemed to be lac of the sanitary paper.... The fridge did not work. I wanted to stay an extra night in the hotel, but the hotel didn't grant it to me even if it wasn't even fully booked. Breakfast was a little overpriced. The hotel is not in city center but close to the European Parliament. There is a metro station nearby so moving around was never an issue. Absence of restaurants, bars nearby. a bit further out from city centre though reachable via metro snacks in bar which you can access 24hrs limited in supply and options outside usual mealtimes esp for vegetarians. Only one tea bag of each type in the room. Breakfast should not be limited with 5 peaces. Hotel is a bit far away to walk around grand place. The breakfast arrangements were slightly off-putting. the food was very good, but it was difficult to know what counted as one item (was a pot of jam one item? Was it included with a bread roll etc. I would prefer a set price and help yourself. Coffee was awful, curious taste! In an ideal world, there would be a more generous supply of teas and coffee in the rooms. Breakfast area was a bit strange with limited seating (had to sit in bar area with couches - no tables and chairs), and the range of food was disappointing. Noise from upstairs room disturbed us. They had only the main curtains you would use to keep the sun out, which you had to close a lot for privacy as there are office buildings directly across, but in the morning/afternoon that made it very dark in the room. Seems a small thing, but it was depressing. My safe wasn't working but wasn't a problem as I used my friends' safe. None. The lobby smells kinda moldy, and the shrink-wrapped everything bar in lieu of an actual restaurant is pretty disappointing, especially when you consider how desolate the surrounding area is over the weekend. Liquid soap and shampoo dispensers seem to always be 'broken' - or designed to be very parsimonious with quantities, it just takes too much time to get leathered up and that’s annoying! (Excellent amenities though!). Not much to dislike but the soundproofing could have been better. It was pretty easy to hear people in the halls. Lack of a proper restaurant was a minor thing. None of the staff spoke Dutch. In my own capital city I would expect to be able to speak my own language. Not in the centre needed to get metro although only a couple of stops. Couldn't fault hotel or service. Parking.
