Very good stay. The friendly attitude of the members of staff and the homely envinroment over shadows the intial few complaints we had. Please keep it up as we will be glad to stay with you at the earliest opportunity. All the best. It was really close to the train station and it was pretty cheap comparing to the other hotels. Although on edge of red light district it did not feel threatening or noisy. Good value hotel. nice location in bad district. At 43€, the value for money was excellent. The room was not of the highest cleanliness standard, but acceptable. A few repairs or refurbishing is needed in the bathroom. It is fair for an hotel in central Brussels at that price, and I will go back if the opportunity raises. The hotel is a short 5-minute walk from Gare du Nord (provided you get out from correct side), which is only 20 minutes by train from Brussels airport. Vey central and close to major attractions too. Also, free use of Internet on PC by reception.proximity to the railway station. Very nice and comfortable attic room. wake up call exactly on time. At 5 am some kind of brekfast was offered, but we had to leave to catch the first train. Friendly staff, excellent location (city, trains, shops). Waking up to the sound of a rooster (true !) in someone's garden nearby, was a pleasant surprise. The bird wakes up about 7:30 am which was rather conveinent. The price and location. Not bad. The commentaries about the hotel made me feel that this hotel were really uncomfortable. Otherwise, it has been a really good surprise because the room was clean, new, big, lighty, silence (perhaps because it was weekend and there wasn,t traffic)... The breakfast has been really good too. We could have all what we wanted...milk, tea, coffe, coke, yogurt, biscuits, juice...and all was inclusive in the price. It is near the centre and near the north station. We get walking all the interest places.the people are helpful, the breakfast was pleasant, good choices.. and Tv in the room had dvd built in, if i knew i would have brought from home some dvds to watch during the night.. over a good 2star hotel, but directions to the hotel must be more specific, not just the road name, what i mean once you know where it is, the 2nd time you go there you wont have problem remembering where it is, the issue is to find it is the 1st time.. this is just a suggestion to help others and not a complaint.. Hotel staff was very friendly but did not know much when asked about places to see in brussels. Breakfast was decent for the price.The place around this hotel was near the public transport and few minutes to the centre of the City. . Breakfast was great. Location to the city was pretty good. The rugs, which cover most of the hotel's floors, appear dirty and are full of cigarette burns. Many of the rooms do not private washrooms. toillet is not in the bedroom. Location was a little noisey but anywhere in is.Its a very low end hotel, not suitable for couples on a weekend break nor families. Very noise /cannot sleep/, bad neighborhood. The room was promoted as a special price but it wasn't mentioned that in order to reach the room you have to go through a deposit room which was often accessed by the staff . Noises, rooms need to be refurbished. spider nets in the room. smoking room, room was not ready when I wanted to check in, toilet outside the room, renovation not done for long time,.
