Good location close to the Museum Quarter and walking distance to the Opera House. Quiet. Very cheap for a single room with shower and basin but no toilet. Staff friendly and efficient. Free wifi in room. Hotel close to Burgstheater underground station and various tram/bus lines. Vienna generally is amazing. Beautiful architecture. Tons of galleries and attractions. Good food. Chilled atmosphere and pleasant public transport. English widely spoken.
all reviews » Room was totally fine, big enough and shared bathroom access was not a problem for the 4 nights I was there. An exceptionally good price made any minor bother ok. Excellent neighborhood to explore and close enough to the 1st district to walk. Try the City Bike bike sharing located a few blocks away at the Rathaus. Only 1 euro then unlimited 1 hour trips!. The staff was incredibly accomodating of every need. It is very quiet and close to old Vienna. It felt very safe coming and going at night. I particularly liked that they have a fridge on each floor for guests to store their refreshments. You are right in the center of Vienna for very viable prices. The Internet connection was very stable and fast enough, too. The rooms were clean and sufficient for what you might need (not desire). :). I arrived without luggage and the front desk staff offered to care for the baggage delivery, which they did very well. Location was perfect! Close to just about everything a tourist might enjoy. Really friendly, helpful staff. Location couldn't be better - few minutes walk from the museum quarter and access to public transport. Good buffet breakfast for reasonable price. Great value. Room rather spartan. But for £40 a night in the centre of an expensive city, what do you expect?!. Too many locks here and there, but once you get used to it, it is not a huge issue. Bed was a little firm. Wi fi in room was unreliable, but could be accessed in the public areas. They do not offer any breakfast! ;-)) (that's the way the hotel is). My room was very far away on another floor and through several doors. I got lost once trying to get back to the front door. Of course the wc because it is outside of the room although very clean. The front door is a little hard to find. Some directional sign in English could help a lot. Rooms need repair and renovation. all the doors that must be locked, passages to dark. Breakfast is excluded, Tv is very small and old. There is no breakfast available. This is no problem in principle, but could be better communicated at letsbookhotel.com. - if you take a room with shared bathroom (shower and wc), consider that you have to walk a lot, to open doors with a key, to cross cold stairs areas etc. - my room was really small. The room was too small and there were no direction what was the easiest way to find the hotel. Reception was not open for 24 Hrs. No toilet in the room.
