- Great hotel staff. Mr. Wild, friendly and hospitable owner of the place, made us feel at home from the very beginning of our stay. He started with offering us a free breakfast, because we arrived quite early and our room wasn't ready. Later, when my girlfriend caught a cold, the other man at reception brought us some medicine (all pharmacies nearby were closed by that time). - Good location. Josefstadt is a lovely district just near the centre. It took us around 5 minutes to get to Ringstras.
all reviews » The staff at Pension Wild were so lovely and very helpful. They recommended a fantastic place to eat closeby which was easy for us as we had only one night in Vienna. There are lots of boutique/retro shops & small bars closeby and its very centrally located on U3 metro line. The room was extremely comfortable too, large and airy and quiet with an amazingly comfortable bed. Highly recommended! We will definitely stay there again. Hotel-pension Wild is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and courteous. Nice, willing to help, generous and much more. It felt like home! The price is great and the hotel is in a great location, close to the Museum square and to the Theater. It's much more than a 2 star hotel (for me personally, it's a 5 star rating). We will come again. first of all and I think very important,the welcome I received was wonderful..very friendly and nothing was a problem..even had a map with local restaurants done by the hotel not just tourist map..breakfast was very fresh and good variety...mins walk to old town and tourist on off buses..great mini bar as well and reasonable price.. The Proprietor is very welcoming and the rooms are very clean and well designed. The breakfast is good and well served and the situation is only 10 mins walk from the centre of Vienna and very close to many of the Galleries and Museums. Exactly what You need for a city trip. Clean room, centrale location and excellent breakfast and staff. The reception is also discreet. There isn't someone controlling your comings and goings all the time. Some noise from toilet vent next door. They have prepared extra blankets, still, it could be more comfortable if there was a heater. Rainy days are quite chilly in September. Parking in the streets was a bit difficult but to be expected near the city centre. No hanging space in the room for wet towels. No TV in room. Everything was very good. Nothing. No to the negativ expirience. I hade unluck to get a room next to toailet. The toailet have a noisy fan and this night someone had more and twice needs to go to the toailet. Otherwise i liked this hotel and staff. The coffee. Toilet and shower in the corridor =). there was nothing we did not like. Breakfasts are basic and every day the same: sausage, cheese, biscuits, boiled eggs, butter, jam, cereal. However, normally for several days. Towels doesn't change (we stay 3 nights). the bathroom not well cleaned, mold in the shower, lack of toilet accesories, poor breakfest. The room has serious moldy smell, I feel hard to breath, so I have to open the wondow for a while to allow freash air come in (and tolerate the cold air in November) and then close the window and try to fall in sleep right away. The roon is very small, we can't even find enough place to open our 2 luggages. The room were i stayed (i.e. 406) was very hot. No air conditioning, and a bit noisy during saturday night. Not fresh - very cold in Vienna at the moment but they did not put on the heater. Bathroom was old and not quite doing well.
