The staff were very welcoming. We stayed in room 230 which was spacious - had a bar fridge and a good fan (fantastic as it was warm weather during our stay). the towels could have been fluffier, but that is getting picky. We arrived around 8.30pm and my toddler wanted some milk which the woman at reception was only too happy to provide. She even asked if I would like it warmed. Breakfast great too. all reviews »
The staff was friendly, accomodating and professional. Every question asked was answered. I reserved two modern rooms facing the courtyard, which were nicely decorated, good size, clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The staff clearly made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. A gem of a place to stay! Thank you!. Great location, good breakfast - great value. Very helpful and friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble and they were ready, willing and able to assist with any tickets, advice and suggestions. A great experience thanks to them. The hotel staff was always available with restaurant suggestions, selling tram/U tickets. In addition, they assisted with a problem we had with our British Air reservation.We liked the service and the hospitality of the staff. They are knowledgeable about local attractions and local restaurants - ask about restaurant Hummer (turn right out pension door and walk 2 blocks and it's on the corner).What I liked very much at this hotel is that it was clean (everyday our room was cleaned...and we stayed only 3 nights), the breakfeast was ok.Also the fact that it is a 24 hrs reception was a plus, as we left at 4 o'clock in the morning and the taxi was waiting outside(called of course by themselves). The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as were staff in the breakfast room. The hotel also offered a very good breakfast. We stayed in four star hotels in Prague, Vienna and Budapest on this trip and this hotel offered the best breakfast.I have to say I liked the fact that the room was very clean. The traditional Viennese style furniture and the old style elevator provide it with a very romantic athmosphere. Also the central location (close to the city center) is a plus. Friendly and very helpful staff; fresh, delicious breakfast; locationnear Uni and nice residential neighborhood; excellent connections forpublic transportation - and it is in Vienna a beautiful city. Excellent location, within walking distance of many sights, but at the same time outside of the most touristy areas. The decor of the room a little bit old fashioned, but we knew it when we choosed this hotel, so it was no problem at all. The freshness of the food at breakfast time could have been better. We are so used to having tea and coffe making facilities in our room, that it would have been great. The bathroom seemed a little "outdated" and in need of a renovation.room was bit outdated. in one of the rooms there was no carpet. We didn't like the fact that on the third morning we did not get breakfast, as we left very early.We asked them to change the breakfast to a dinner or lunch, but they refused. The rooms were a little noisy with street traffic during the morning. This started as early as 5:30 am.A little bit too expensive for my tastes, but it's worth it. View from the window.

Important information to guests
The whole city centre is a limited parking area, liable to charges. In the 8th district, where our house is located, you are only allowed to park the car for 2 hours. Limited parking is Monday till Friday, 09:00 to 22:00.
The hotel offers guests reduced parking tickets for the public garage Otto-Wagner-Platz (approximately 5 minutes walk from the Pension). You can enter the garage when you arrive and pull a parking ticket. At the reception you will receive a hotel parking card.
At your departure the fee of the pulled parking ticket will be charged on the hotel parking card and then you are able to leave the garage. If you should exceed the validity of the card, you have to pay the balance directly at the garage.

Take the U6 underground line in the direction of Floridsdorf and get off at Alser Straße. There change into tram line no. 43 in the direction of Schottentor and get off at Lange Gasse (third stop).
From Westbahnhof (Western Train Station):
Take tram no. 5 in the direction of Praterstern and get off at Lange Gasse.
From the airport:
Take the S7 train line to Praterstern-Wien Nord and continue on the no. 5 tram line in the direction of Westbahnhof. Get off at Lange Gasse.
You can also take an airport to one of the train stations and continue as above.
