  The hotel is right at the Republic Square, so probably the best location in town. There is a grocery less than 30 seconds walk and a bank where you can exchange your currency. There are a few other hotels nearby, but I guess at higher prices. The pricing was really cheap. The staff was really nice, the day I arrived they referred me to a travel agency where I purchased my daily - Very central location, cannot be closer to all main attractions. Extremely good value for money (my colleagues stayed much more expensive but further away and in similar condition). Conditioning works fine. Staff is helpful. I read earlier that man in the breakfast room does not smile, but I would suggest learning a bit more about the culture of a country where you travel before setting "Western" expectations about smiling man of middle age. They do they work fine.

They found me a very nice room and I was upgraded which was very kind. My room was immaculate and quiet with easy access to the lift and hotel facilities.

Surroundings are quiet, only cocks crow. 10 minutes walking brings to metro.

  I really liked the fact that my room was very spacious, that It had a very good view of Ararat and that the people could spoke English. The facilities are good and room spacious and well-maintained. But its best asset are the warm staff at Reception led by Ms. Marina. All of them were attentive, polite and always ready to offer advise to any query. I had a very good tour to few tourist sites with hotel driver Kagi. I highly recommend Hrezdan to any traveller, they make you feel at home ! :-)
