The hotel is right at the Republic Square, so probably the best location in town. There is a grocery less than 30 seconds walk and a bank where you can exchange your currency. There are a few other hotels nearby, but I guess at higher prices. The pricing was really cheap. In the meantime everything in Yerevan seems to be extremely cheap, so not sure how it really compares to other hotels. The staff was really nice, the day I arrived they referred me to a travel agency where I purchased my daily.
all reviews » Very central location, cannot be closer to all main attractions. Extremely good value for money (my colleagues stayed much more expensive but further away and in similar condition). Conditioning works fine. Staff is helpful. I read earlier that man in the breakfast room does not smile, but I would suggest learning a bit more about the culture of a country where you travel before setting "Western" expectations about smiling man of middle age. They do they work fine. Excellent location, right beside Republic Square. The breakfast was really great, both cold and cooked foods. Room and hotel were both fine, nothing outstanding, comfortable room and bed, spacious enough, clean. Location could not be better - just off Republic Square, which looks great at night. Wifi can be slow is your room is far from the wireless point (wich is on every floor). Not really the hotel's fault as I didn't report them, but one night the people in the same corridor were making a lot of noise, all with their doors open. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom at timers, which seemed to come from the drains. Nothing in particular. Nothing. The breakfast was poor. They only accept VISA cards, therefore better to withdraw money from ATM and pay in cash if you have a Mastercard. I wish they change the Mattress it's not comfortable ,and need someone carry the bags ,just this things was not good at the hotel but other things were magnificence. Nothing. I can t find Russian channels. interior dark colors. low light in the room. Free coffee for the first day only in room!. Front desk clerks are not very friendly. nothing. Split matress. Basic hotel with minimum amenity. Breakfast hot food items are all cold. Be careful, they will try to tell you that they are changing their banking system or visa machine so you pay them cash.... Don't let them full you!!!!!! Or lie to you!!! Be aware that they are saying this story because like this they don't pay their taxes to the government....
