I really liked the fact that my room was very spacious, that It had a very good view of Ararat and that the people could spoke English. Room very clean, flat tv with Armenian, French and American channels that you can watch seated on your couch or on your bed. The pool was very good, the staff very friendly, the hotel very close to the city ( it will cost 600 drams in taxi to go to the center), a European style hospital next to the hotel with a pharmacy ( very useful), Very good wifi, as a coll.
all reviews » Being my first time in Armenia, my stay at Hrezdan Hotel proved to be a pleasant and friendly experience. The facilities are good and room spacious and well-maintained. But its best asset are the warm staff at Reception led by Ms. Marina. All of them were attentive, polite and always ready to offer advise to any query. I had a very good tour to few tourist sites with hotel driver Kagi. I highly recommend Hrezdan to any traveller, they make you feel at home ! :-). The pool area was excellent, we really enjoyed the pool and pool bar which served excellent foods (specially cesar salad and french fries). The staff were also nice. Excellent pool, excellent view of Ararat, very nice staff, the included breakfast was fresh and copious. Great value for money especially if you pay in advance. Value for money. Very nice recepcionist ladies. Room was not big, but very nice, bed comfortable. Swimming pool is certainly a greatz advantage, too!. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful. The hotel is quite and the location is 3 min by taxi to opera . u can see hzardan stadium clearly and dalma garden mall .. the staff are friendly. Wifi was good. Buffet breakfast is good but a suggestion is to alter a few items on daily basis ?. The breakfast was really poor. Instant coffee at breakfast, no safe in the room, room a bit tired - the new section they have renovated is much better although more expensive. The breakfasts were getting very boring already the (2.) well, for sure the 3rd day. Would be nice to have some change there more often. Location wasn't as good as it looked on a map, it was quite a walk to get to the city centre even though the distance was very short as the crows fly. You could use a very long pedestrian tunnel downhill from the hotel, but it wasn't recommended by the staff. Interior decor in the rooms looked like something from before the Soviet Union ran out of steam (which made the nice bathrooms and the flat screen TV stick out even more). nothing.... position is a bit outside the centre without car/taxi lounge bar with repetitive music. The building is a bit outdated, but clean and taken care of. Justified in the price though. The restaurant was poor and little that was on the menu was available. The staff were the complete opposite to the reception staff. Eat out at one of the many fine restaurants a short taxi ride away. breakfast could be better. No european TV channels. Hotel is typical eighties style shabby soviet architecture. I do not like this 'retro'. :). Worn out double bed. Old Furnitures Breakfast No Wifi in the rooms. - a little far from city center but taxi ride is cheap. The staff was not helpful. I called for my bags to be taken down when we checked out but no one ever showed up. I had requested a double bed so that our daughter could sleep with us but the room had twin beds that were not pushed together. Beds were not comfortable. More of a business hotel, doesn't cater to families. Carpet in room rather worn out, breakfast is below average (almost no fresh fruit, low quality sausages and cheese, instant coffee, no water, cheap apple juice), must take taxi to get anywhere (but taxis are cheap in Eriwan - just about $ 1,50 per city trip). the pool was without water and I really wanted to relax. Old furniture .. the building is too old .. it was an offices during the Soviet union and the breakfast is not that good .. the pictures in letsbookhotel.com is different than the real one .. the price is high .. I give this hotel 2 or one star. W had no TV connection for 4 days I stayed there , Very poor breakfast and lots of flyers in the room.
