Staff were wonderful and the hotel very clean. The hotel is convenient to everything. I like to walk and was able to walk to almost everything I needed. The elegance and comfort of the building.staff very helpful. Quality of accommodation. Standard of food in restaurant. We did generally enjoy our stay at the hotel. Setting and Decoration were fancy and interesting, real atmosphere of 30s jazz restaurant/bar. Breakfast food quality was very good.very nice, cosy hotel, very pleasant rooms and interior. pleasant service of transfer to the airport. The location. building site next door , noisy during the night. Construction noise nearby was only a minor nuisance in the morning, but it never woke me up.rooms only have one bed .... the entire hotel is set up that way. 1. I specifically asked for a room far from construction and was placed with a window right on the construction which starts at 6 am with jackhammers and girder tossing contests. 2. I was not informed ahead of time of the complicated policy the hotel uses for payment. They took a $170 deposit on my debit card for one week without informing me of the amount. If paid in cash they take a 60% deposit. paying $28.00 a day for parking. Construction on a new building (beside my window) next to the hotel;very loud hammering noises,noise from cement trucks, loud talking @ 6-6:15am each day!!!!!!!. Proximity to building site and noisy cleaning staff. Good rate was maybe due to the fact that we had new building construction very close to our room, starting with heavy drilling at 6.30AM!! Hotel assistats were not that kind and "talkative".I did not like the hotel staff (except of the porter - handling luggage and hotel driver to airport). The receptionists were very poor in handling clients. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Furthermore, the hotel should be at least ready to offer some compensation when some clients find themselves in rooms next to the construction side. An "I amsorry" is not an answer. I had to leave one day earlier than my 3 day reservation, but your staff insisted at check in time that I had to pay for the 3 day cost. I had never encountered such an unreasonable requirment and the unreasonable person who had insisted that I should. Would I return to this hotel (which has such a small room) or recommend the hotel to any one?.

Traveling on 95 South just north of Baltimore, stay in two left lanes. Take the 895 tunnel to the Baltimore Washington Parkway (295 South). Stay on the Parkway 20-25 miles.
Take the New York Avenue exit (50 West) into DC. You will be entering Washington DC on the Northeast side.
Follow NE York Avenue toward Northwest DC. After you cross 4th Street NW, bear off to the right (three right lanes). You will be on L Street, continue straight to 10th Street. Turn left at 10th street and go one block to Massachusetts Avenue, The Henley Park Hotel is located on the corner of 10th Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
*From the South:
Take 95 North to 395 North. Follow 395 North to the 12th Street exit.
Exit on 12th Street and proceed to L Street. Go right on L Street for two blocks to 10th Street. ( L Street becomes Massachusetts Avenue at 10th Street) The Henley Park Hotel is located on the corner of 10th Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
*From the West:
Take 270 South to split. Go towards Virginia to 495 (Capital Beltway-South) to George Washington Parkway. Take GW Parkway to 395 North. Follow directions above.
