Food especially the Caesar s salad at restaurant Finn & Porter and complimentary breakfast . The convenience of transportation to Downtown area We walked home from the Whitehouse one night Cleanliness of facility and attentiveness of staff to our requests comfortable whirlpool and salt water pool. The location for what we were doing was great. The free breakfast and Happy Hour were terrific. The Staff at the front door was fantastic but the high rate for Valet parking was insane.

Spacious, comfortable and quiet suite in the heart of DC, offering very good value. The open bar at happy hour was a welcome treat, and the complimentary breakfast was extensive. Very friendly staff that was accommodating to 21 sixth graders and teachers. Greatly appreciated and would definitely return the next years that we come out, which will be many!. Suite vs single room gave us bottled water for our trip home! Excellent breakfast included complete with made to order omelets housekeeping service excellent. The rooms ending with an even number are like tombs.The rear of the hotel faces a brick wall and barely any light gets into the room. those rooms are much smaller than most Embassy Suites I have stayed in. We were changed to a Hilton Honors sweet when our cell phone would not work at all in the room. Free food and free drinks bring out large and loud mobs -- and long lines, despite valiant and remarkably cheerful staff efforts to speed things along. Of course, when the price is zero, it's hard to complain!. Manager's reception- started at 5:30 but ran out of any kind of beer by 5:50!!!! ordered a frozen drink in the bar- was told blender was broken!!! As others noted, having to pay for WiFi crazy- also high parking charge. The breakfast layout - too congested by the pancakes and syrup every morning. Very poor layout with high demand items in a corner. The kids really wanted waffles one day but there were only pancakes two days and french toast one day. Frontdesk staff : one lady at chec-out : no smile, no greetings, no thank you. did not dislike anything. Everything was fine. nothing, everything was excellent. Website showed a view of the Capitol building. I asked for a room on the 15th floor with view of downtown and I got a room on 15 with a view directly into a board room and vaious offices in the business offices right next door. I had booked a smoking room by letsbookhotel.com with confirmation. But the hotel changed to complete non-smoking in the meantime and no smoking room could be provided. Didn't found no one point to be not satisfied staying in this hotel. nothing. Nothing to dislike. Crowd at morning breakfast although staff did well...just too many people. We didn't get a 'corner' room with view like letsbookhotel.com reservation indicated. Room not cleaned well and one morning we had no hot water for showering. No in-room snacks or decaf diet sodas, could be a bit closer to the metro. disability chair in the pool. Kids were constantly playing on it. Should have sign and have it powered off unless requested for use by someone deserving. breakfast buffet wasn't very streamlined for speed. i spent four days redesigning the line to go faster. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all and a lot of queuing. Long line for breakfast and table are not clean and ready to take. I am waiting on line at front desk behind designated waiting area. Someone cuts the line and walks right up in which I had to walk up to this person and tell him that I was waiting in line. I expect the front desk staff to do this- i.e. inform this person that there is a line. Free computers were not easy to use. No free internet. nothing. I booked a king room and ended up in a double room. The hotel did not provide me with a receipt of my payment. It is supposed to be E-mailed to me, but I haven't received any E-mail yet. I need a receipt so that I can request my employer to refund my lodging/accommodation expenses. How can I go about obtaining a written receipt?. You have my E-mail address. They only have wired Internet, which makes it complicated to use your smartphone, besides most of the Internet-kiosks downstairs didnt function. The breakfast was very American in European understanding of it: it was nice to have a chef frying an omlet for you but you still taste that the contents is whatever but eggs. After first check in, used toilet and flushed it. Trash cans empty. Went to dinner and returned 1 hour later, toilet full of toilet paper and banana peel in waste basket. Called front desk, came in took pics, said would get back. Nothing heard since. Atrocious ... -we encounter alot of noise where i think its realted to the poor sound isolation system - the bathroom towels were dirty in couple of times. Additional charges for Wi-Fi or parking shouldn't be introduced in a hotel of that scale. 1. Dining room is closed rudely in faces of customers after 9:30 (food was collected back to kitchen & chairs flipped on to of tables while customers still eat. 2. I was charged 39$+Tax instead of 36.95 w/o tax for valet parking. I had to complaint to get my money back. No room internet (the one provided is very expensive) Very bad room location (just opposite the services gate where you are bothered early in other morning with services trucks) Asked for a single large king bed and given two smaller beds!. Night staff are terrible, no CS whatsoever. Parking is 46$/night, wow extremely expensive. Night Staff has no culture of dealing with customers in a gently manner, no education, very rude. It feels like they don't care at all. The five hookers (yes, prostitutes) actively soliciting customers right in front of the windows at 630am on Saturday-my young kids get up earlier and saw them in action! Embarassing and made my family feel unsafe!!!!. They ad a suite for 5 pax and it´s not true. Suites only for 4 pax in two beds. For the fith a sup. bed. terribly it was impossible to force to eat at hotel restaurant!.
