Receptionist very friendly and helpful and (waiting for our late arrival during the night). The staff was very friendly; the location was perfect for our purposes; the beds were very comfortable.The location was really good. And the staffs are kind and warm. Location in downtown, near to bart (airport connection). it is cheap. although I sent fax to meke sure the room was 2 beds room with bustub, when I checked in, the room was 1 beds,no bustub...the stuff were kind, but not efficient very much. the break fast is so so.location (close to union square). It is cheap and convenient to get BART to airport and Berkeley.Breakfast quite ok. the situation in downtown. convenience. nobody on frontdeck always. bathroom very old. Our room faced Geary ... it was very noisy (I had asked for a back room). The towels were threadbare and small. The tv didn't have a remote (tiny, too!). The drain was bad and towels were not clearn. Very noisy (traffic), no air-conditioning. TV set is too old and small. There is no hot water for drinking. the room was dusty, no soap, no shampoo.clean but old towels. It's just OK to save the money. Wi-Fi is temporary unavailable, they said, but I think it's not temporary !! there was one PC in the work room( actually just a warehouse-like room ),it very very slow, and the mouse was really annoying.too noisy; internet connection through wifi not available several days; furniture and equipment quite old. I have complained to the clerk that their bed mat was uneven and I could not get good sleep.Facilities of the room we stayed,20/6-23/6, appear not properly set up. No staff available after 9pm. room noisy and not clean. not tidy and nite enough, w/o provide boiling water facilities. This is maybe the worst hotel i have ever been in my hole live. The neibourhood is horrible, a lot of people living in the street, other people taking drugs (crack) near the hotel. Talking about the hotel, it smelled something between trash, really very disgusting. I would never recomend this hotel to a friend. About the velvet parking, once there was a man inside of it listening to our cars radio.

By Car:
From the airport (SFO):
- Take 101 North to 280 North / Downtown SF.
- Exit at the end of the freeway at Third Street.
- Take Third Street up to Market Street.
- Cross Market Street; immediately after crossing Market Street, turn left onto Geary Street.
- Continue 6 blocks past Mason Street.
- The hotel is located near the end of the block on the right-hand side between Mason and Taylor Streets.
Parking: Valet parking is available at an additional cost (see the Important Information brochure). No advance reservation is necessary; arrangements gladly made by staff upon check-in.
Hotel Shuttles:
The hotel recommends that you take Lorrie's Shuttle; they will bring you directly to the lobby. At the airport, just follow the signs for ‘Hotel Shuttles’. No reservation necessary; just board one of their vans.
BART-Train (BayAreaRapidTransit):
From the airport, take the train to Powell Street Station. The hotel is about 7 blocks from the BART Station.
