This hotel is fabulous. We unfortunately only got to stay here one night, but the staff was more than accomodating to us and all of our needs. It's classy, clean, well worth the money, and was a very large room with the one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Also, the location is wonderful - close to the subway and many key sites and neighborhoods. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
all reviews » The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave good information about the area in a pleasant manner. The room was clean and bright as was the whole hotel. The restaurant had good tasting food at a reasonable price and the staff was excellent. I have already recommended this hotel to a number of aqaintances. he staff were amazing and nothing was too much - William was so helpful in getting us to all the right attractions and arranging airport transfers - the staff made our stay wonderful. Would recommend everyone to stay there!. Great location. Subway entrance is right outside the Hotel. Very friendly staff. Lobby decor is modern and great for hanging out. Restaurant opens until midnight which is great for late snack. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great - close to the metro and lots of nice restaurants. While we personally enjoyed the design of the semi see-through shower wall as a couple, it may be awkward if traveling with family or friends. The first room they put us in was on the second floor right outside the elevators. We were afraid we would hear noise from the street and the hall with everyone coming and going from the floor so we asked for a new room.Nothing!. Nothing. Small room space typical of NYC hotels. Bed mattress is mediocre. Noisy environment if staying at lower floors (we stayed at 4th floor). The babycot was a bit small and looked rather dull. No free wi-fi in room. Wi-fi and cell phone reception was very very inconvenient. Needs to be rebuilt and incorporated into the room cost. No coffee in the room. No Internet in room without paying extra. No spa center. View from the room. The parking is expensive. But u can park outside the hotel during the weekend is free . Nothing. almost nothing the cupboard where clothes hang could do with some light!!! it is very dark and has no direct lighting. Pillows were not comfy at all. Restaurant and bar were adjusting to a recent change in ownership (recently bought by hotel) and growing pains were obvious. Overall these were minor compared with issues experienced at other new york hotels. Lack of attention to detail and very limited and poor choice of food, both in restaurant and in room service.
