Everything!! From location, to size of room, to value for money, everything was perfect! The lobby is always full of staff and customers but the staff is very efficient and always very helpful. From Concierge to Front desk to bellboy, they are committed to their work. Bravo! I travel extensively and was at first a bit worried about staying in this huge, busy hotel, expecting an overwhelmed staff but it was not the case and I would definitely go there again and recommend it to many!.
all reviews » Unparalleled view of the WTC site, including the Pools and Freedom Tower, from most rooms. Continental breakfast was very tasty. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Checkin was very quick, and checkout can be done from the room. The room, and linens were very clean. No sign of bed bugs!. Everything was perfect...the concierge, location, room, housekeeping, reception. Mattress was best I ever slept on in a hotel and I have traveled a lot. Given your competition, I say "Wow!". Everyone friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the two Concierges who both gave excellent advice and help. We were on floors 41 and 45 The lifts were very fast and we never had to wait. Location was terrific for subway access and NYC navigation. Pool was nice and refreshing. Room was nice. TV was not working but we had quick service response and fast room relocation. + good price for that level of hotel + good location in the financial district + close to metro station + nice and enough space in the rooms + wellness area. Check in time is 3pm, I arrived in ny at 7:45am, when I arrived I informed the front desk I was very early and asked for the possibility of early check in, we were immediately checked in($25 early check in fee) and quite happy to pay the fee. The view from our room was absolutely fantastic. The room size was satisfactory. Also the bed was very comfortable. Hotel did best to honour letsbookhotel.com booking even though they no record of it. The Hotel position is excellent Rooms clean and very good white sheets and Towels. Plasma TV in room only receives standard definition signal, and the picture quality on every channel suffers. Everything is expensive, though probably on par for NYC - from the in-house dining to the room mini bar (Can of Coke for $5.50!) Complimentary ice machines on each floor, but no vending services. Must use the mini bar, or head to the main floor bar - which is only slightly less overpriced. Pillows too soft for me. I asked for hard or firm pillow and was given another two of the same soft pillows. Room was not picked up; we ended up putting glasses out in the hall and they were not picked up in 36 hours. Our beds were made but towels were not picked up, coffee supplies were not replenished daily and garbage/glasses not removed. Facility and location is great, but cleaning staff needs to pick up rooms better. We were 85% happy. Breakfast buffet costs too much for what is offered. We found local food options with much better value. Cost for Internet!. Having to pay for WIFI in the room. I wish hotels would stop doing this and treat this as a necessity in today's world. Internet was a rip off. Poor connection, but worst of all, you had to pay. The internet should be free. Also, mini fridge was filled with junk; no space to store healthy food, which is a must. The walls are way too thin! Everything the room next door was saying could be easily heard. No free wi fi. Rooms a little dated Rip off Internet. Pool wasn't heated the first day. Maybe you need to call down and let them know you are coming down? Second day very warm. Safe did not work. mattress too soft I actually prefer smaller hotels--not Millennium's fault, just a matter of taste. The location is not suitable for anyone holidaying in Manhattan. It is for business users only who need to be in the financial district. Although I was there for business it was the wrong location for me. Not their fault. Rooms were clean but very basic for a Hilton level. Drink and food too expensive. Nothing really. A little noisy, close to lift shaft. Wait to get into our room and length of time for luggage to be delivered to room (over an hour). Nothing. i need Reciept!!!. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming. I purchased a junior suite with a view of the city. While the room did have lots of Windows and a view, it was not all that spectacular. I think I was expecting to be on a higher floor. The elevator was a bit slow, but given the size of the hotel it was acceptable. The internet was a rip off since you have to pay 12.95 dollars for every single device for a 24-hour basic plan. letsbookhotel.com booking was confirmed by letsbookhotel.com but not on hotel computer We only got room standard we booked for three of four nights. The Staff were very un friendly And could be. a little nosy We were lucky to have a room On the 27th Floor. Located in the south of Manhattan means lot of walking or driving to get to other interesting areas of NYC and the major shopping areas. WiFi should be free considering room prices. No free wifi, even budget hotels have free wifi. No HD TV, all channels have bad reception. The furniture is dated with lots of wear and tear. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Smell of stale smoke in a non smoking room. Charging $27 to book the Supershuttle, when Supershuttle charge $19 on website. Overall I was VERY disappointed with this hotel, I would not stay or recommend this hotel to no-one, pity because the staff are lovely. We arrived earlier than expected and had a child that was 3 years old and they could not offer us a room. We therefore had to wait and sleep in the lobby and later we moved to sleeping in our car. They had rooms because people were signing out of their rooms going to airports . They did not make any efforts to clean those rooms so that we can sleep and rest comfortably. Their wifi was not free, local phone calls are 11 $ per min. This was my worst experience at any Hilton Hotel ever.
