I am really thrilled about our stay at World Center Hotel.It has an excellent location,the staff is very friendly and focused on clients'needs.We paid a room without meal option,but the restaurant located at the 20th floor with view to 911 Memorial offers a wide variety of food for every taste.We enjoyed the room service that was very prompt and the very inspired offer of the management to offer freely,as a courtesy,purified water on every floor.
all reviews » My wife and i were treated very well by the manager (Kevin) during our stay at your New York hotel. We recieved a wonderful complimentary upgrade from a basic room to a large and beautiful suite with a balcony and view. Kevin also extended my wife and i a wondwrfully delious full course meal at the hotel's rooftop resturant, all exspenses paid by the hotel. We reccommend this hotel to all our family and friends. I really enjoyed the amazing location of this hotel. Right outside of my hotel suite I had an amazing view of Ground Zero that was remarkable!!!! Aside from the great view we had the room had gorgeous floor to ceiling windows on the entire side of one of my walls in the room. We literally only had one wall and the rest windows. I would stay at this hotel again hands down!!!!!. Location is excellent. the hotel is pretty new and has good facilities. free bottled water, guest closet with any extra accessory you might need. comfortable beds, good aircon, excellent staff. the view from the terrace bar is great. also, you can get passes for the 9/11 memorial from reception. good value for money. recommended if you want to stay downtown. Central location right by the 9/11 Memorial, with our room overlooking it, is great. The restaurant on the 20th floor (also with a view of the Memorial) was terrific. The room was not particularly large, but it was clean and well-appointed. There was a filtered cold water dispenser and bottles on each floor. AC controls were great. The location was excellent as we wanted to see the 9/11 Memorial and was in walking distance to South Street Seaport, Battery Park and lots of restaurants. The hotel had been recently renovated - scandinavian type furnishings. Very clean and the staff both in the hotel and the Terrace Restaurant at the hotel were amazing. Location. We were in NYC to visit 09/11 Memorial on Saturday and to participate in Tunnel to Towers Run on Sunday. Could not have had a better location. It was clean and neat, good location for the 9/11 Memorial site. We enjoyed everything. If you're looking for nightlife its a little quite in this area after dark so you would definitely have to cab it to some night attractions. But cabs aren't hard to find so you should be just fine. the room was not very big. lifts are sometimes slow (even if there are 4). The entire area is undergoing a great deal of construction (from both 9/11 and Sandy). This made for daytime noise and road closures and traffic. Not a problem, but people should just be aware. The rooms were a bit small. A lot of the area is still under construction so it was a bit noisy if you wanted to sleep in. Nothing. We spent Saturday night there and the staff was very nice, the room was comfortable and the hotel's amenities were fine. If I had to critise anything it the water pressure in the shower was a little low but that's being extremely picky!. Dreary breakfast (and not included in the room price) - no beans, no porriges etc., the gym is very strangely equipped - there is no simple bar. There is building work happening by the memorial site which were a bit loud in the morning. Selection for breakfast could be better. I felt that rooms were a bit closed in. There was only one window and it was in a corner, the view was of other buildings. That was my only issue, which wasn't a big deal. Not use to paying Steep NY Hotel prices but was worth it. Especially location at 911 Memorial and the view from our room. How narrow the beds are,and next to a wall. No a/c in the hall ways it smelled musty. The maid turning down the a/c. Nothing. Gym equipment was not working properly. Two out of the three treadmills were broken, one of the two exercise bikes were broken and both missing their pedal straps. Key cards needed to be replaced/reactivated twice so made going up and down in the elevator frustrating because they didn't work in the elevator or the room. They do not accept cash, we still have to transfer on the other side, club quarters hotel. We asked for a late check out like until 1400 and they charged 40 or 35 dollars with tax any check out passed 1200 noon. Nothing. Close to the building site (but knew that). Not enough friendly staff, I would say. Small rooms. small lobby- only one person on duty. the bathroom had a weird smell like they had used a dirty rag to clean it, the duvet did not have a cover that is cleanable so I did not want to use it,. Noise of neighboring construction, Self service front desk. on the letsbookhotel.com I chose a room with two single beds and with memorial view, but was given the room without view... Nois from the streets. Hotel hard to access due to all the construction at ground zero. construction noise. I expected more friendliness from your staff. We were given a bad address for a restaurant recommended by your staff. It's the small stuff yet I am coming back in a month and will try somewhere else. The female staff is far more attentive than the male. No a/c system in hallway Construction in Lobby Construction outside the building and lack of clear directions for parking. Price Small room. Bed was not what we reserved (King), only had queens but website states kings. No luggage carrier.(Although they did offer to help) Hard to find. No proclaimed self park available. Bed was uncomfortable. We asked for two beds and got one, on the second day they had not replenished the complimentary tea and coffee. A bit far from other major attractions.
