Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and served at times stated. Room condition was clean and spotless, same as en suite bathroom. Excellent location, very close to everything central. Quite reasonably priced considering it's a chain of Marriott hotels, it's location, free Wifi and complimentary breakfast. Would recommend to anyone considering staying in NYC!. Suitable for city trip. Staff was great. Our room smelled like someone smoked, this was handled well by staff, we were given another room next day. Best were Dan and Henry (I hope I'm right about the name). Dan is the soul of the hotel, friendly and helpful. Don't know about remaining staff. Location is very good, price for the location also good.

Size of room. The hotel reserve your room amount + a deposit of about $20 a night for the duration of your stay as soon as you check - in. Would have preferred them to just take whatever amount is due to them at check out stage as the excess deposit money they reserved in my account did not release until the day I was due to return to the UK!. I guess the room and bathroom size might be a problem for some, but we were alright. Bedding and towels perfectly clean but rather worn, towels very thin and a bit scratchy. Not enough storage space in the very small room. Free coffee (available 24 hours) not always hot. Room was a bit on the tight side, bathroom also very tight. One lift was out order during the stay, not very much wrong. Small breakfast area during busy period, few people waiting for tables. For some reason free wifi didn't connect phones but worked well for computer. However, the room smelled like old tobacco, the cleaning wasn't great, specially the dusting and vacuum. The room was small, with a very small closet, with no space for our clothes and baggage. Old but clean towels. Nothing really, rooms are not very big but that's NYC right?. It was a bit small and not too many places to put stuff. I did not know until our second day that there was a place to store our luggage. only one working elevator, sometimes you had to wait a long time.the room a bit small but ok. *cleaning must be better *only one elevator working *small rooms. The size of the room was rediculously small. much noise by the air contitioner for warming the room ; the walls to thin ,so every word from the room near to my room ,i heard every word !. Small hotel room. - Room is small but it's NYC manhattan so that's expected. One of the 2 elevators was broke during my whole stay (3 nights). I would expect it to be fixed within hours. Also, I could not get my Marriott points because I booked through Bookings (at the same price as the Marriott site). All was great. Elevator didn't work. Rooms are a bit small but as the location and cleanliness is awsome, it is not important for me. Room are very small. The breakfast , the room too small, the long waiting for the lift. I stayed in this hotel 4 nights. Room was cleaned only the first day.
