The location is brilliant indeed - some few steps from the Times Square. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would like to specially mention and thank Trinita, who checked me in much earlier that she was supposed to. It is a perfect choice once you are not going to spend all day long in a room and only need some rest after sightseeing. The rooms are small - that is true, but it cannot be a surprise, when you are full aware of that. Will definitely stay here again when next time in ny.
all reviews » Wonderful location 5 minutes walk from Times Square. Small but comfortable and very clean room. Facilities like shower, hair-dryer and alarm clock worked properly. Air- conditioning and a fan-heater were provided. Really lovely staff on the front desk - they went to a lot of trouble working out transport arrangements for us and finding out about museums we wanted to visit. Simple but nice continental breakfast. Situated in an ideal place, so central to everything and just off Times Square. Subway stations are also close by. The hotel was clean, breakfast is provided and perfectly adequate. The staff are amazing and make you feel welcome and at home, nothing is too much trouble. You will never walk through the hotel and be ignored by reception staff or room staff. I loved this hotel and would stay again. Location was excellent. First trip to NYC and it was great to be 1 block away from everything we wanted to do, Times Square, GMA, Broadway Show, Restaurants and easy access to subway to get to Central Park, 9/11 Memorial, Empire State Building. Awesome staff, very friendly, helpful with anything we needed and the front desk quickly got us transportation to airport on our way out. Location was excellent -- close to everything and within walking distance of -- shopping, shows, good dining, etc. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Loved the pillows! We stayed at Econo Lodge for 5 days. The hotel is in a great location close to Times Square, Central Park,Metro, Deli, Star Bucks & supermarket. The staff is very helpfull and friendly & the complimentary breakfast saves you money and there's free coffee 24hours. your staff were very friendly and helpfull.Especially a lady called Katherine Bejarno,who went out off her way to help us. Excellent location.will definitely visit again.We went with econolodge because we were very happy with the place in Orlando Florida.Thanks. The stuff is great. They answer every question and try to help as much as they can. The reception works 24h and if there is a problem, it is fixed in few minutes. Being on the second florr we could hear street noise but they offer complimentary ear plugs that worked great. - Really Small room, I have not seen smaller... - Noisy room form the outside traffic because of poor windows - only one small table by the reception for all the people during the breakfast! Everyone solves a problem where to serve the food. We stayed on the second floor on the corner and could hear the noise from the street but that is the charm of being in the big city. Our room (218) was very noisy - got very little sleep. Room was extremely small - could barely walk around the bed. Only heat for the room was portable space heater. Hallways were warm - room was cold (but not unbearably so). Everything was OK>. The breakfast selection was very limited - but then, in all fairness, breakfast was also free! (And there's a very nice Italian place with great breakfasts just a block away). The rooms are a bit small, if you have one or 2 luggages thats ok, but if you have more luggages you will be disappointed. It is worth to book the superior rooms, that are bigger for a few dollars more. Overall, it is a perfect hotel for who is on a budget, really recommended!.
