I stayed in the hotel on 26/9/2013. I had booked a deluxe room for the couple of us and our 7-month-old baby. We walked into the room, only to discover that we were upgraded to an executive suite without even informing us. It was a glorious surprise and the suite was really luxurious, comfortable, and offered a magnificent view from the 28th floor. In short, we liked everything about this hotel and will sure stay here again in the near future.
all reviews » The hotel is now even better than before. The management really take note of customer comments. For example, I found a kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities this time. The room service is fast and very efficient and the quality of food is excellent as always. The speed of the check in and check out formalities has improved greatly. The staff at the hotel are friendly and welcoming. Location is perfect and Okku is a fantastic japanese resturant. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very elgant. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, perfect for a good nights sleep after a long night out!. The staff were great, the hotel is near to the metro and easy to get to from the airport. The lounge bar was also lovely with live (quiet) music played at night! providing a lovely accompaniment to the evening. Nice breakfast and beautiful room. Everything is perfect in this hotel. But i hate check in and out. I like the staff and specially the parking service. The room is very big specially the bath room. And the view of the city from the room is nice. Everything was amazing.. You made my couple HAPPY... We were so happy and we liked the hotel very very much.. I would like to be a regular visitor for this hotel... I'm glad to have a hotel such as The H Hotel. Respect to 2012, it has changed the ownership and management and the hotel keeps on offering the same 5 stars hotel level and, for some issues, it also increased the level of the service and offer. During my last stay I commented about the poor wifi facilities. I noted that the facility was upgraded on this visit. I appreciated being recognized by management as a returning patron. I really enjoyed staying in the room with the view and huge bathroom. Also, the variety of top restaurants and location( close to many restaurants,clubs,malls). The staff are friendly. Great hotel , loved the high quality restuarants on site specially OKKU which is my favorite Japanese restuarant. Location is awesome, so close to Dubai Mall and other good places. Club room was absolutely beautiful with very luxurious bathroom and stunning views of Sheikh Zeyad Road. Superb steak restaurant and ambient cocktail bar was also a bonus. I realy enjoied staying in the H hotel the premium room is well furnished well designed and has plenty of space that I rearly see anywhere else. The business facilities are excelent. The spar is at the right place after business meetings. In house entertainment is also well thought of. I like the location, which was very close to the exhibition center. The hotel is very clean and I strongley recommend it to other travllers. 1- Good room design, spacious 2- location. 3- lobby and bar restaurants. 4- All above mentioned verses the Price during the discount period. Because of the rules of check in I reach hotel at 14:30 but they are very slaw in check in they give me the room at 16:00. Also it happend to me in check out my flight At 12:30 and I want to check out at 09:30 I asked for carrying lagauge and check out but no one came to me. So at 10:00 I go down by my self and I carried my lagauge. And they let me wait in the reception. ...To leave...:). I have stayed at the hotel 4 times. The past 3 times basic items were missing and I have had to request them. Once facial tissues and on two occasions tea/coffee facilities. The A.c wasn't cold enough. Also, restaurants are always fully booked. Took long to check-in, Noise Noise Noise was very annoying inside the room, you should not hear other people talking from other rooms that is a very bad point on this 5 Star hotel...nothing like this in Jemirah Beach Hotel. Some slight confusion regarding room rate upon check-in. This was resolved but then again seemed to be an issue on check-out. However, this was handled very well by the staff and wasn't really too much of an issue. I did not like the setup of the reception. The wi-fi should be free according to the rooms rate. 1- no free internet at rooms. room lighting need some improovments. Wifi should be free and the lighting should be improved in the window area after dark. The Restaurant breakfast should be available earlier than 7:00 a.m. on weekday mornings. The large number of call girls in the lobby going up and down was very annoying and frustrating especially for families. Considering that the hotel is a 5 star hotel!. I would recommend hotel to have Sport Bar, so that guests can watch Live Football matches. . - The amenities provided are not 5 star standard. The car parking. The check in and checkout took long time, short number of reception staff. We didn't like that the pool was covered completely. It is nice to have some shade from the sun, but we wish part of the pool had been left open to the sun. Nothing. The fountine infront of the main enterance is too big and makes taxi pick up too slow. nothing. Too much waitinin time for check in. Food prices of Okoo resturent are overexaturated. The concept on this hotel is to act cheap, the wifi cost is ridiculously haigh, the Management are poor when it comes to communication skills and customer satisfaction isn't their prority at all, apparently the say "the customer always right" isn't in their dictionary, and wouldn't treat you as should a five-star-hotel do. Sometimes when I order something like food or ice they took little long time. Service service service for hundred times. Except for the exhibition there will be no real reason to stay as it is a bit of distance from the major Malls and the marina. Check in/out process much too long, can be done faster and as there is only 2 persons, you have to wait some 40 minutes before to clear this. parking valit take too much time due to shortage in manpower. Its a bit expensive. no view to see from the apartment. Internet is not free and expensive. The TV channel reception was sloppy. Kept on going bad every now and then. no breakfast with the room. Appartments are no good, they are extremely specious unnecessarily . Minibar bar in the apartment was empty. My booking was including breakfast, but check-in does not include it until I have print out the booking reference and show it. Wifi very weak and almost non-existent in the rooms. Had an issue getting into Amika even though i was a guest in yhe hotel. Resturants staff in the 1st floor, you dont feel they are part of the hotel!!. The accual price i payed is higher than what was offered on letsbookhotel.com. The internet charge is very high, and the extra charge if a guest came over is ununderstandable!. The concierge wasn't great. Nothing. The Bed The fact that I couldn't get access to the Okku Restaurant Sunday, even if I m staying in the hotel.
