Staff was great mostly. Location was great because it was literally in front of the metro (and the metro is so easy to use because it only goes North and South). The pool is awesome too. The staff went out of their way to give me a room with a nice view after I requested it...put me on the 58th floor! The hotel is huge but never felt crowded. Everything is clean. Rooms are absolutely amazing! Included an entry way, sitting area, sleeping area, bathroom with a separate tub, a detached toilet roo.
all reviews » Staff and location! Right in front of it is the metro station. On S. Zayed Road full of life. A pharmacy, clinic, 24hrs market and many restaurants are just steps away. The hotel is located in the heart of Dubai next to Emirates Towers metro station along Shaikh Zayed Road. Money value as the five stars rated hotel is cheaper than its peers. Luxury, design and comfort hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and well trained to deal with the customers. Location - great if you are going to financial centre as you can walk there from hotel. I liked the room, the view, the attitude of the staff (especially Chiwa in security), the size of the bathroom, the comfort of the bed and the quality of the finishes. On Shaik Rashid rood, you can use the metro for atless the biggest malls (Ibn Batootah Mall, Mall of Emirat, Dubai City Center, Dubai Mall) Terminal 1 & 3. Just a very nice hotel, it has everything you could want (apart from alcohol!!), the rooms are big and modern, the gym is good, and pool is very nice. The concierge service was polite and efficient at all times, the complimentary room upgrade was also a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. the hotel location is very good & suitable for my business trip + my shopping. comfort & the staff v. good & best facilities. The design and decor of the room and wash room was very tastefull. Charges for internet Food/drinks - really expensive in hotel. You expect a premium but not 50% higher than the mall (a small black coffee was £3). Nothing. Stayed only for 1 night so did not use most hotel facilities. It was difficult to get laundry collected, the personal grooming pack in the bathroom was empty, toiletries were not replaced and there was a tear in the curtain. The cost and bathroom cleaning. They should warn you that it is a dry hotel (no alcohol). A little confusion over the reservation details at both check in and check out. The room needed a fresh coat of paint not just the hundreds of obvious touch ups. nothing. Nothing i can mention or experienced. It takes 3-6 minutes to get hot Water . A little bit far from the beach, but you can take taxi without any problems. The main entrance of the hotel is from back of sheik zayed st. Pillows are not comfortable and need to be replaced with thicker type. Need to speedup check-in/check-out. Internet is charged; Euro. 4.00/Hour and Euro. 20.00/Day and as a 5 star hotel, internet is a basic service and should be provided free of charge. Unfortunately what I didn't like the smell in the bathroom & the bathroom sink was blocked. The water was floating. Few weeks back my parent stayed at the same hotel & I remember we had the same drainage problem. Someone from the maintenance solved the problem later. why is not Wi-Fi available for free in the rooms. Room Service; delays, orders are different every time, some items are not available even they are listed in the Dine-In Room list. Though the hotel clearly states it is a dry hotel. Not having alcohol was very annoying. Orders. Dry (no bar) Pool side environment needs attention. Swimming pool location. Poor design and decor for Metro buffet restaurant on the 5th floor. but it is in the 61th floor, will be enjoy full the city view. The same snake restaurant is in the top of building, if it is down stairs will good. *pillow is not comportable. No bar/lounge area Took ages for our bags to arrive "Pool bar" doesn't serve alcohol. Misleading. Just speed of elevators ; its some slow :D. difficult check in and check out , stand on reception for 20-25 minutes two times. The bathroom drainage & the bath drainage were blocked. The lights were not functional. We called room service & they fixed right away. the food wasn't that good for a 5 star hotel. Although the swiming pool and spa facilities were nice, there are not in proper places (in a defferent Building). Backside food smell. theres no free wifi. poor building material quality no real 5-star accomodation. houskeeping. - Sink need maintenance. takes forever for hot water to come up. Not availability of femal massage. Staff Staff Staff. High price , wifi not free. small car enterance. - Hotel was busy, resulted in slow service - Did not have enough iron/iron board. I asked for three days, but did not even receive a call back with an apology. The Illusion of cleanliness. I droped the TV remote under the bed I moved the bed to get it and I was surprised by the amount of garbage that I found underneath the bed, so next time you go to the hotel check under the bed I'm sure ull be surpirsed. Took about 10 minutes to get hot water. -We got stuck for 2 hours until our room got arranged. -We got the wrong room at first. -The hot water does not work until you run the water for at least 10 minutes. -the breakfast is so standard and regular. late check-in because the room wasn't ready. No hot water unless you ran taps for 10 mins.
