It was ideally located right next to one of the biggest shopping mallsin the uae and right beside the main drag into Dubai. Although you withno traffic noise you would never have known. good service, nice staff,. service,staff. Nice hotel, reception staff was very nice and polite. The room's door lock was not locking properly, this was fixed promptly upon notification. The hotel suffers from on-going construction activity in the nearby area, but is a very nice hotel. Good location (short taxi drive to Jumeirah area with the famous hotels and the Jumeirah Palm), the Emirates Mall is a 10 minutes walk away.

Access was impaired by construction around hotel. 1. the only disadvantage is although there are 4 mirrors, the lighting in front of it is not appropriate to apply makeup. 2. the way back from the mall of the emirates is not 100% ready for pedestrians , even though I tried it once and it was ok.i didnt like that upon checking out I paid in cash the difference and then upon checking my bank statement they also charge my account . Contruction work in and arround hotel but I guess that's Dubai. Had to wait long for a taxi. the area is a construction site. very small pool ...the location of the hotel. very small room. It's the nature of Dubai but there was so much construction withing 100 feet of the hotel that it was impossible to find by some taxi drivers. The hotel is really within a building site; access not easy, lots of dust etc.. but close to mall and highway.Hotel location, it was difficult to take a taxi nor some taxis are not familiar with the hotel itself. Dusty environmet due to onsite construction. Access to the hotel is not good - in the middle of a construction site. Constant pneumatic drills from building sites next door, 3am disco is audible in the upper floor bedrooms. Hotel surrounded by construction, roads leading to it not completed. The hotel is in the middle of a construction site. The taxi driver had to take a dirt track to get there. There were all the noise coming from the surrounding constructions. Didnt sleep even for a while...The name of the hotel should be dust and noise hotel not Golden Tulip.Avoid like the plague. In the middle of a building site. Constant construction noise. No road or path just a packed down desert track. Rain caused it to be a sandy mud bath. "Club" goes on until 3 a.m., thumping noise from the club meant no sleep. Room small, carpet stained and old. Said I could change room. Why put me in a noisy room in the first place?.Booked 6 nights, stayed one.

Important information to guests
