We were in Birmingham for the Festival of Quilts at the NEC. We loved stayingin your hotel as it was so convenient for the city and lovely places to eat in the evenings. Staff were so helpful before our visit and during it. We have already recommended it to our quilting friends for the show next year. I found the hotel very good from the comfort of the bedroom to the excellent food on offer and the location to all the bars nightclubs and spar across the road, the city only a 10min walk so all in all had a great weekend here.
all reviews » We went to the NIA and the hotel was conveniently placed for us to walk. The staff were helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night but would happily recommend the hotel to friends visiting Birmingham. Very good service from all the staff, and as I was going to a concert at the NIA, the hotel was very close. The comfort of the room, the good style of the main reception/bar area and the price (we had a late deal). The room had two double beds and was so much room, the price great and everything in walking distance. Friendliness of Staff - couldn't do enough to help or make our stay memorable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, rooms were nice moderne and clean.The hotel was very clean and i was very impressed by the size of the rooms. hotel all round v good ease of good food made nights easier to pass away. We were on the top floor and had amazing views of the city. Good quality and comfortable. I enjoyed the 12 noon checkout facility on the sunday morning. we liked the location and the rooms where very comfortable. Helpful staff who brought a heater because we were cold. Very clean hotel and ideally close for the ICC and NIA. Closeness to the venue we were attending (NEC). location, felt safe and secure at all times. Location, size of the room, security. Convenient for where I wanted to be. Competance / friendliness of staff. how close it was to the night life. Good Location, Good Breakfast. Twin rooms had double beds. it was central and buzzy.Convenience of situation. The relaxed atmoshere. Excellent facilities. The sheets and bed covers were not washed every three days as stated by the reception, which they should have been. Other than that, stay was great!. The only think that I didnt like was the smell from bed liner. It wasvery clean but the detergent that they use it was smelling nohow.However was one of the best hotel that I have lived until now. The bath drain was too slow to cope with the water from the excellent shower.the only other thing which would make ones stay better would be a small fridge in the room. doors banging through the night. I would say the bathroom was a little cold, and the towels could of been a bit bigger. We were not informed of the £50 deposit when paying with cash. The cost of meals (we would eat out next time). Recommend biscuits with tea and coffee facilities. No on site car parking facilities. Excessive Car Park Charges. More towels would have been nice. The lack of bar staff - everyone arrived back from the neil diamond concert at the same time and could not get served in the bar.Price of breakfast.
