Came to Birmingham for the Footman James Classic Motor Show and decided to stay on an extra day to sightsee. This hotel was the perfect place for us. It was very clean, staff superbly friendly, and the room was whisper quiet. This is important because it's only a block off the main drag, so thought it might be noisy. We slept soundlessly, and were able to enjoy all the dining and nightlife of Broad Street without having to have it infiltrate our hotel room. Would definitely stay here again and r.
all reviews » A well positioned hotel in the delightful Brindley place close to the canal street development with its variety of shops, fine restaurants and cultural centres. The hotel is well designed with well appointed and good sized rooms. Despite its position it is very quiet. The hotel staff are extremely helpful.We were made to feel comfortable and at home even though it is quite a big hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff! The receptionists were amazing and really helpful and cheerful. Whatever we ordered for the room was bought up really quickly and cheerfully delivered. The room was very clean and comfortable. I especially liked the bosespeakers which was included in the room. Location was ok, 15 minute walkinto the city centre, but would consider it a bit far on a wintery day.Everything else was fine.It was a lovely smart looking hotel, with nice and informative staff. The good sized room was very clean and excellent value for money. We will come again as it is in the ideal location for just popping into central Birmingham.
