all reviews » This is first time in my experience when hotel has honest description,real photos without photoshop,real feedbacks. Hotel is small but very very cosy. Staff is more than polite and friendly. All of them english speaking. Rooms are very clean, hot water,warm rooms. Good choice in minibar. Very good choice of tv chanels. WiFi conection is stable and fast. Our windows were faced to Sirkeci station and Halic. But! No noise! Even with open window. Hotel located in Sirkeci semt, close to tram station. We loved everything in this hotel but first and foremost the kindness of all the staff. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt like Royalty, being given the nicest attention and help while this never being too much. On arrival we have been given a room upgrade and a full description of tourist attractions in the entire city which made our day. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a huge variety and the possibility to get pancakes on request. The rooms are not huge but well . Hotel Elanaz is perhaps the best gem I ever found via Bookings - and I use it a lot. The biggest deal is the location: that easy to find when you just follow the tram from the Eminonu (Old City town part/European side) area, in front of Sirkeci train station. You can't miss it, eventhough it is marked a bit wrong in some maps. Actually, it really is just close to the railway station. Not only the location, but the friendliness of everyone (first of all the manager, receptionist, night shift wor. Although located in a quiet street, it is at 5 minutes walk from the main Old Town attractions, in a very cosmopolitan part of the city, next to Sirkeci tram station (line t1 with connection to the airport), and to Eminönü pier (boats for the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus). The sympathy and helpfulness of the staff is unsurpassed. The hotel is new, small and very comfy. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas and works great. The breakfast is good, with a selection of local cheeses and s. Everything was wonderful! We will definitely stay here again- and it is close to all the sights! The owner even gave us complimentary coffee every morning after the breakfast period, and was always so lovely! We also received a gift when we left, a small little porcelain bowl with a lovely note! The breakfast was always made by the most lovely lady (fresh gozleme for breakfast! Soooo good!), who sent up a tray when my wife got sick with the flu! We found NO negatives !. very small rooms , moisture on the bathroom floor . Very small reception and lobby bar ... Little kitchen. Small rooms, elevator and looby. Nothing. The hotel lobby and breakfast place are very small space and not comfortable for guests. And staffs are not proficient in English and makes communication are difficult. For outside US accommodations, it was one of the best values I have encountered. The rooms are a little small, but I think that's the case with most European hotels. N/A.
