Everything about this hotel is very likable. First of all the location is very good. It is centrally located in the shopping district of Silom, close to(5-10 mins by walk) Saphan Thaksin MRT station & Sathorn pier where you can catch ferries and boats for a ride along the river connecting some important tourist attractions like Wat Arun, Wat Poh, Sanaam Luang etc. There is a Robinson store in the same premises. The staff are very helpful and the service is very prompt. There is a Kitchene.
all reviews » Everything was perfect. The hotel is in the middle of a shopping area, on top of a shopping mall, and close to plenty of well priced food outlets. It's a 5 minute walk to the Saphan Taksin Sky train and also the Sathorn Pier for ferry boats up and down the river for Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Grand Palace. The rooms are very spacious, there is a kitchen with stove, microwave oven, cookware, crockery, fridge, utensils, washing machine and a proper dining area. The bathroom is majestic with a separate s. Location is very convenient. Room is very spacious. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite as we were two couples. All facilities are nice. Living room is facing the river. The hotel staff are quite friendly and helpful. So I'm a bit surprised by the earlier comment that service is bad. In fact they attended to all our requests fast and carefully. one thing to note that this is not a hotel but a service apartment that's why they provide kitchen etc. but they do clean the room, change towels, e. Absolutely everything. The staff were excellent. Got upgraded free of charge on check in. Breakfast the best buffet ever. Location is perfect, it is away from the dirty, annoying side of Bangkok, very good location. The doormen were efficient and helpful. I injured myself and needed medical treatment the day of check in, which the hotel offered free late check out, and helped me to the hospital. They could not have been more helpful. The pool is great and clean. The gym is of high standard. Wif. We stayed in the Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment with a shower, bath tub, washing machine, dining table, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. All kitchen utensils were provided. The whole apartment as well as the apartment building is well maintained and very clean. Staff were very attentive, helpful and polite. Close to BTS Skytrain Saphan Taksin Station and the Central Pier on the Chao Phraya River. The hotel is connected to Robinson Departmental Store on the lobby level and Tops Supermarket i. The security staff is the best team the the world. Top notch friendliness and professional. Pool is great as usual. The whole building has a new coat. The lifts are quick (better than lots of 5 star hotel) One of the reason booking the hotel is the bath. A bit of Lush time for me. This is second time staying at this hotel. Not getting breakfast this time as saving us 550b/person/day and we don't want to get up at silly hour after night out. We wanted to have local breakfast nearby anyway. Clos. I saw this hotel from the reviews it felt like it would be a great place to stay. I was not wrong! It was great in bangkok for the price offered. Wonderful team and people, expceially security people they always were so helpful to call us elevator, to assist with doors. Robinson shopping mall is just right downstairs and it's a food haven just right outside the hotel. If you want to go for massage, there are plenty of good ones too. The Sky Bar at State Tower is just 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. There is free wifi included as well. The location of this hotel is the best. 5 minute walk from the main boat pier (which takes you to all the temples & Royal Palace). 5 minute walk from the sky train, very easy to get around. And 1 block from the bar where Movie Hangover II was filmed. Room is spacious and clean and has a washer/dryer combo. Excellent place to stay while in Bangkok. They have a gym also which is big. everything about this hotel is just great , the staff are incredibly kind and helpful , we wanted to change rooms and they did their best to satisfy out needs , also we needed to visit the hospital so the called and did the appointment for us , they were very helpful by telling us about directions and attractions of the city . our stay was great because of the hotel . we would defiantly go back in our next visit to Bangkok . This hotel is a very good option if you do not have too much money to splash around for a luxury accommodation in BKK. Location is very convenient (close to Skytrain and pier), staff is polite. Clearly equipement, comfort, breakfast, all people working there were smiling and very professionnal. I recommend the hotel with only one warning: the streets around are crowdy and very bad smelling in the certainly due to the river close and sewage smelling - but not fault to the hôtel close to skytrain as well, very convenient. Not far from the main attractions, for example, it's only 10 minutes by boat to reach the Royal Palace, which is nothing in such a big city. The hotel was like an oasis after negotiating the crowds of people, the traffic and the hot and humid weather. The gym was excellent as well as the pool. We liked the location of the hotel; its proximity to markets, Sathorn pier and walking distance to other shopping and dining. Breakfast is great, a full diversified choisses Overhall recomand the hotel great value for money. Everything is fantastic here at this hotel. However, I would like to mention one thing. The flow of hot water is very erratic in the bath rooms. I stayed in 2 different rooms - on 25th & 20th floor and it was the same. Room for improvement.. There was nothing we didn't like. Only thing to note is they do ask for upfront payment and a 2000THB deposit on top of the room rate. This was promptly returned on check-out. The area is quite dirty and smelly. But of course inside the hotel it's clean. Leaving. If you planning on doing a lot of shopping at Siam Paragon, MBK, Sukhumvit district, this place is a bit far from those places. As a tourist, it'll probably work for you if you're looking to get on a cruise along the Chao Phraya. It's definitely not as lively as Sukhumvit area. We have 2 deluxe room supposed to offer river view. End up giving us 1009 and 1010 that facing opposite side of the river. Feel cheated. The safe is too narrow. Won't be able to put in my Macbook air 13. On arrival the room had a heavy humidity smell and also the AC Was making bad smell and had to be cleaned. It was all done and Ozone air purifyer was brought to our room. Nothing we really enjoyed our stay in Bangkok. No complaint whatsoever!. just one little thing : the noise insulation of the air cooling in the room could be improved ... It's away from the main city area, where all of the main shopping centres are. Bathroom looked a little dated compared to other hotels we stayed at - though still was a good standard. There is nothing we did not like. Only advice is dryer takes long to dry so start early. nothing to unlike !. Liked everything. Just not able to understand why tea-bags/sugar pouches were not provided along with tea kettle in the kitchen (even 3 star hotels these days provide tea kettle and free tea/coffee kit) considering that cp Silom is a service Appt. Boring breakfast spread with near zero veg indian fare ( except muffins etc) Even though atleast 7-10 indians (some were there for longer stay on company assignment) were staying there. 30-40 min drive in tuk tuk from siam central (shopping destination), Pratunam etc. As others had mentioned was to ask for a deposit of THB 1000 per night though when I booked, I gave them my Credit Card and they did collect in advance. Nothing, this is a true 5 star hotel. The bed sheets had stains and the towels were grey and needed replacement. The mattress although covered with a mattress pad had urine stains. The staff changed the sheet on 4 occasions and each time they were stained. All of these observations were surprising considering that this a very good hotel which offers many positives. The upfront deposit charge of 3000 BHT was unusual in our travels but as mentioned before was reversed at departure. We had to wait fot the check in at 2 pm eventhough we came in earlier. The water in the shower could not be controlled sometimes quite hot then would just change to cool?. But not a big deal. Nothing to point out. I broke a water glass in the room when doing dishes. They charged me 42 bath for it. I stayed in the hotel for over 2 weeks and the total hotel fee was over 35.000 bath. That glass should have been free to replace. Streets around are very crowdy and sewage smelling very strongly. There was mold in the shower but other than that - the room was great!. Coffee & tea was only available at the lobby and not in the room. Was a little inconvenient. Paying thb 1000/night's stay in the hotel upon check-in but it is fully refundable and it can also be payed via credit card in case you did not have enough cash. Bangkok too busy!!. We thought that the dining room could have been also used as a cocktail bar for guests from 6 till 8. This way you meet other guests & form new friendships. Nothing but I had to learn that you can only buy a bottle of wine in Robinson from 5pm to midnight.....However, the Shop closes at 10pm....... Some people (but not all) at the Front desk were not as nice as we might expect. none. The air conditioner in the room was a bit loud. Would appreciate little bit of tea coffee facility in the room even though there is available in the reception area. Lack of any bar and limited hours and choice in the restaurant. However, this is also reflected in the room rates, and there are plenty of places to go all around. Also, the room was rather bare and lacking in furniture - but clean and spacious. Wifi in the room is terrible, it is virtually not there, so you have to go down to the lobby or swimming pool if you want to use wifi. Paying a deposit THB 3000 for 3 nights. It was returned on checkout but you are left with that amount when leaving the country. Rats at the back of the hotel are rampant and the general area is in need of some rodent control, but this takes nothing away from the general quality of the hotel. There w\ere no negatives for me. the shopping centre is being renovated and the hotel is on top of the shopping centre (Robinsons) so there is a lot of building and as a result the area outside the hotel in grubby and filled with building rubble. It will be great once the shopping centre is open again for business. Nothing. A bit noisy probably in the night coming from the street, but it is Bangkok.
