We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. A ten minute walk leads to the Parco Del Tassino with great views of the lake and the mountains that ring it. The hotel was very comfortable. It is a small hotel, where you can see the same people every morning at breakfast. Breakfast consisted of excellent coffee, freshly baked bread, and a reas. all reviews »
Small hotel with very good service and nice rooms. Central location near the railwaystation, but without disturbing noice. Side road with little traffic. Simple but tasteful breakfast. Only 5 min walk to the city center. Lovely nature around the city.
The hotel staff are very helpfull. Hotell is very clean and near to the
city center 10 min walk or 2 min by cable car that is at the train
station which taks you directly to the city center. Breckfast very

Well like many family run hotels in CH this is a nice hotel with a very helpful owner/manager, location is nice as well as you can be in lugano's city center within a few minutes.
