I spent a night in Best Hostel while visiting Stockholm. The location was great, it is very central to the buses, shopping and a lot of things are walking distance. The receptionist was very friendly and there was complimentary breakfast for the guests. We were quite skeptical while staying at the hostel as we have never been in a hostel with family. but the staff and everything else was A OK, in the middle of the town walking distance to gallerian, Ahlens, dorttingingata.
all reviews » Location was ideal right by metro but actually we were happy to walk into city centre only took about 15 mins tops to get to central station. Breakfast was simple but at least it was included. I would stay there again. The localization is very good. The rest-rooms and showers are clean . Wi-fi at the public areas work very well. The staff is very helpful and kindly helps you with your doubts. Rooms are ok. As a budget option, this was one of the best available. A comfortable room with private bath in the centre of Stockholm for under 100 Euros per night. The location is good: near metro station in the center. There is breakfast for free and pasta all the time. Staff are very friendly. Budget hostel, you can meet lots of people stay in the same room. It's very close to Metro station green line (Hotorget). The location is ok, almost the centre but I suppose it's all the same from almost everywhere in stockholm. Great location. Distance by foot is around 10 minutes. Rooms are ok, but still lower level. Good location. Location. nothing. I had a few problems with my bed assignment and key, took awhile to get it figured out but it was nice that the staff was attentive to getting it figured out. They had announced free wifi in all the rooms but our room never got signal, they said that it doesn't work well in all the rooms. the main bed was not, it was supposed to be double bed but turned out to be two beds put together. Not having an ensuite bathroom. But as we were the only ones on the ground floor didn't really have to share. In my opinion the breakfast is basic. Just it. Some items like orange juice and yogurt could be available. For the rooms with a private bath, there is no extra charge for towels. We arrived after the reception closed, however, so had to wait until the next morning to get our towels. Not a big thing, but something that could easily be changed. There were many noisy people at night in the room, they even were turning the light on while we were sleeping. But it isn't up to the hostel. It's up to people you are living with. Less toilet and do not separate male and female. It would be better if separate for male/female. The lift is quite scary. Poor wifi connection in room, weak and lost signal sometimes. -The breakfast is very basic. - No TV available in the room. Time for breakfast Only one shower by floor. Construction site opposite the street (but if you don't spend time in hostel, it doesn't really matters). shower was broken,bed is not very comfortable. It could be more cleaned... The kitchen is too small. creaky beds, bad wifi in rooms. everything was fine. Cleanliness at breakfast table, but for that was responsible guests. Luggage storage was one for all with one code, but we were lucky and no one stolid a thing. The building is opposite the hotel was very noise at 6 colck. missing towels... no microphoen on computer ( so no Skype...). The hostel's check in hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM. And my bed was up near the ceiling, so I was a little bit worried that I could fall during my sleep. building site next door!. facilities a bit old, construction going on outside at the moment, noisy. No internet in the room. Only in common area. Very simple breakfast. Elevator is always slow and was out of function when I check-out. So I pulled my suitcase from 3rd floor. - Not enough space for common areas or breakfast - crowed most of the times when you want to have your breakfast. Simple breakfast, construction site opposite. Too short beds for tall people. Internet didn't work in the computers. Breakfast space was mess a little bit. I hope that space is cleaner. I'm sorry only that's point. We had to pay extra if we want cleaning for out towels and cleaning of our room and toilet.And I believe at least the cleaning of our WC should have been standard for a hostel. 1. Very small room. 2.Extremely small bathroom. 3.Not very clean room. 4. Bad value for money. Very expensive for the facilities offered. 5.Very poor breakfast. *In Greece with the same money a visitor can stay in luxurious hotels with excellent facilities!. very nasty and uncomfortable hostel. Bedbugs in room 111, people woke up with huge red spots all over their bodies. Stuff won't do nothing about it. About anything actually. Breakfast is just so boring, bread and bread and bread. They started to charge you for towels also. When booking in advance one can get a room in some simple HOTEL for the same price. Surely will never come back to this place. Worst breakfast I've ever seen in a hostel. Dirty dishes. Disgusting coffee. beddings are smelled. Price and it's not clean.... Price Not able to unbook. not cleaned up the room before giving the room to me.
