We liked everything about this hotel. The location was greta, right downtown, walking distance to everything. The room was very nice and spacious which we have found rare in many european hotels and breakfast was very good with a nice assortment of foods. It was also nice that they gave us a coupon to the attached restaurant. Hotel was very nice, perfect location, nice and friendly staff, good food in the restaurant, also the breakfast was perfect. We got a bigger room than we paid for, bathroom had a jacuzzi and floor heating. The room altogether was very nice.

Breakfast was excellent, location of the Hotel is perfect for visting Stockholm, the personnel was impeccable and the rooms oldish but with modern conveniencies and extremely proper. The hotel is located in the CBD area with walking distance to most places. The rooms are refurbished and clean. Windows can be opened to let in fresh air. the lady at the reception was very helpful, kind and polite. I forgot to take the map of the city with me and had absolutely no idea how I was going to get to the small and not very known club at Stockholm that evening. But the staff printed the route and explained every detail about the transport I should take. They helped me much.There could be some kind of a net curtains in the windows along with the normal curtains. There was nothing I didnt like about it , I booked a large twin room andgot exactly that , also very clean. The restaurant staff is not friendly. Not even a single word of good morning,,,. small room. If a large group is arriving, there may be a few minutes wait at the elevator. We had one incident where we asked the receptionist for some tourist information but she had little local expertise and we almost missed the ferry we wanted to catch - lesson learnt is that in Sweden staff working in the Service industry is often foreigners and it would have been better seeking advice at a tourist burea. Stairs might be a problem for frail people. feather pillows. The room looked bigger at the picture.Some of the rooms were not very big and the restaurant and bar closed on Sunday. With a lot of the restaurants closed nearby too it was difficult to get a meal at night. We had to walk down to the old part of the city. A snack bar would have helped, as it was quite late when we got back to the hotel and we then had to walk for food. Room was quite small.We arrived in stockholm and wanted to tossed our arrival but found the mini bar was not working at all which was a little disappointing. When we called up the recep said there was nothing they could do which was fair enough as it was sat night but not even a free offer of an ice bucket or anything. A little dissapointing to be honest. The room was ice cold when I arrived. One of the two radiators did not work at all. However, gradually the temperature increased and was ok.The only 'slight' problem i can think of was the noise from the main road. But this wasn't really an issue and the road was very quiet in the mornings. Single rooms are small.
