Stayed her for two nights to do sightseeing and pick up a new Volvo. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Three elevators so not much waiting. Breakfast Buffet was extremely generous and good. Our room was very small and needs to be painted, etc (in need of a remodel). Bed was comfortable & bathroom was fine with a shower & hairdryer. Hotel is connected to a large shopping mall that is accessable without going outside if the weather is bad. The mall has a lot of good restaura.
all reviews » Even if the street leading up to the hotel is a little shabby and the lobby area is not great the room I had was fine and spacious and the breakfast was good. Good hotel close to the Central station. For a business it's perfect, rooms are clean and quiet (even if they are small ). Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is almost located on the opposite side of the road of the centrail station. The location was great! Shop til you drop, just outside the doorstep. Also, the breakfast was very good. There were not clear distinction on the floor between shower floor and rest of bath room floor. Once I use shower room, almost entire bath room floor are coverd by water. I am wondering why they don't put small wall on the shower space floor. Just a 3cm wall is enough to prevend from floor flooding. It was a little bit bussy. I was really surprised that in the room there was no toiletries (beside bath gel), and no coffee maker... Very large busy hotel. Would recommend for location only. A little basic. Due to Gothenburg marathon being on during our stay we paid well over the odds for basic accommodation. small rooms; no free tea/coffee facilities. Very unhelpful when it came to arranging childcare. They couldn't provide it themselves nor direct us to local providers even with 3 weeks notice. We finally arranged babysitting with a member of the hotel staff willing to help out (and be paid) on their own time only for the hotel to step in and prevent her from doing so. We ended up missing the concert we went to Gothenburg to see in the first place. Most unhelpful. WiFi is too slow. Cleaning on Saturday was too late and only after request. Room was not clean and bed sheets were hairy !! Receiption staff are not competent to solve guests problems breakfast hall and service is not organised, it was a mess. The building requires a complete renovation. Overall it was a very bad experience.
